"I stumbled upon this restaurant while shopping nearby and decided to check if they offered vegan options. To my delight, they had an extensive selection of vegan pizzas! I downloaded their app and placed my order from my car; my pizza was ready exactly 20 minutes later as promised. The staff were incredibly helpful, informing me of all the possibilities for veganizing my meal! They even have vegan chick’n nuggets that can be added to any pizza or salad. The atmosphere was wonderful, and it was such a pleasant surprise. I’m definitely a customer for life!"

"Got takeout here yesterday and it looks like they may have limited their menu options compared to the description here on happy cow. I did not see any options for vegan sausage crumbles or chik'n wings. They did however have 6 options plus the build your owns on a dedicated vegan section for 12 inch pizzas with either a gluten free or cauliflower crust. Additionally I had a great conversation with someone in charge who said that they just spoke with their wife who makes the pizza dough and from now on (March 24, 2021) they are going to stop using eggs in their whole wheat crust. I would call to confirm, but if true would allow for an additional crust option and the ability to order vegan pizzas in larger sizes. My only complaint would be the need for some variety on their vegan speciality pizzas. They have a healthy cheeseless veggie pie, a Baja with black beans and salsa, then 4 pies with different combinations of veggies and Daiya cheese. The build your own also includes a soy ricotta option but I didn't try it or check if it was vegan. I would love to see some additional protein options like bringing back the vegan sausage crumbles, adding tofu like Mellow Mushroom, having a buffalo vegan option, and then having some additional specialty pies with more than just the vegetables. As for the pizzas we got the vegetables were very fresh and the gluten free crust was light and tasty. All in all I bumped them up to 4 stars because of their kindness and willing to expand their menu. While their prices and quality is on par with the other vegan pizzas options in town the experience I had with the staff inclines me to choose them in the future especially if they continue to add options."

"The staff member at the counter at Extreme Pizza was very friendly and knowledgeable about the vegan options available. While their regular pizza dough contains eggs, the gluten-free option is vegan, so I opted for the smallest gluten-free pizza. They also offer vegan cheese. I visited for a late weekday lunch, and the restaurant was relatively quiet. This might be more reflective of the current federal shutdown than an issue with the restaurant itself, but perhaps they receive more delivery orders than dine-in customers. They have a selection of beers on tap, which adds to the relaxing atmosphere if you choose to enjoy a sit-down meal. However, I found the smallest pizza size to be somewhat inadequate for my appetite, especially compared to other local pizza chains."

"The pizza was reasonably priced and made for a great lunch after our hike at Mt. Tam. They offer both whole pizzas and individual slices. The atmosphere felt very welcoming, and the manager was friendly. It was odd that there were no other diners, as the place is quite underrated."

"Before diving into the food, I want to express my support for this restaurant. We finally have a pizza spot in south Davis that offers both amazing food and great beer. No more enduring the trek downtown, getting stuck in the endless traffic on Richard's Blvd, dodging freshmen on bikes, and competing for parking like gladiators. Now, onto the food. The pizza combinations here are unique and absolutely delicious. The toppings are fresh and high-quality. I really appreciate the sauce, which is often overlooked but is essential to great pizza. Plus, the ranch dressing is homemade! They also deserve extra points for offering gluten-free options. My go-to is the lunch special: a 2-topping personal pizza, a house salad loaded with greens and veggies, and a soda—all for just $10. This place is the coolest restaurant in south Davis, perfect for both families and college students. We finally have a venue to enjoy quality pizza and beer from a variety of local microbreweries on tap. A restaurant this excellent deserves an enthusiastic review... Extreme Pizza is the best-kept secret on Mace!"

"Location makes sense because it is a hop, jump and a jump away from taps n caps. I love extremes because their pizza is so good. If you go to sit, there are many places to sit and the beer selection is decent for it to be a pizza joint. The Pestato Head is my favorite as it comes in layers of pesto and potato and gooey cheese on a thin disc crust. Love that if you order here, it comes pretty fast. I hear her lunch is good n cheap. Can't be better for delicious slices of goodness."

"Extreme Pizza raises expectations with its name. If they had named themselves "Pretty Good Chain Pizza," I would have thought, "Sure, that's great." Unfortunately, they fall a bit short of that promise. The ingredients are decent, but the sauce isn't anything special, and while their specialty pizzas are interesting, they come with a steep price tag that feels overhyped. Still, it's worth a visit if you're in the neighborhood."

"I have been here a few times. SO. GOOD. The Yard Sale is great for those that like supreme style but better. Personally, I always go for the meat. Everest is AMAZING. The 12 inch is nuch larger than you would think because the toppings are piled on. This is a perfect place to eat before or after the movies or just if you're in the area. Highly recommend. The man that is always at the register is always helpful pleasant. They also have beer, wine hard kombucha."
