"Sidecar seems to have lost its charm. While the bar still maintains its tiki theme, the cocktail menu now features very few authentic tiki drinks. Instead, it primarily offers quick, fruity options like palomas and margaritas. It used to be one of the coolest cocktail bars, known for its amazing tiki cocktails like the 3 Dots and a Dash, but it now feels diluted. The absence of the skilled bartenders who were passionate about their craft is noticeable. The last drink I ordered was a disappointment; it tasted overwhelmingly like a lump of lime, which was quite unpleasant. I hope they can make some adjustments and reconnect with their original roots, as right now, I have no desire to return, especially for the prices they're charging. They've also trimmed down their gluten-free offerings, which included gluten-free buns for sandwiches and burgers. It's just disappointing. On the upside, my husband enjoyed a regular burger with his bun, and he said it was good."
