"Upon entering Nomi's, I was initially taken aback by how empty it was, especially next to a party holding a business meeting. This made me a bit uneasy, as an empty restaurant usually raises concerns. However, I quickly realized that the lack of patrons was misleading—the food was absolutely AMAZING! Everything was beautifully presented, and I was grateful that I didn't have to deal with seasonal dishes due to my health concerns. I ordered a chicken quesadilla, and it was nothing like I imagined! This stunning dish was made with fresh bell peppers and perfectly seasoned chicken, all wrapped in soft pita bread. To accompany my meal, I enjoyed a cup of pumpkin soup that was incredibly smooth and flavorful. I also had a strong craving for a traditional Haitian dish—legume. After my disappointment at our previous restaurant, I asked our server, who was incredibly gracious. Oh my, was it fresh and delicious! I got to take some home too, which included Djon Djon rice, legume, and freshly made carrot juice. Now, a small note of criticism: we were served our soup with plastic utensils, which felt a bit out of place considering how elegant everything else was presented. The dishes were modern and stylish, and the real flatware was beautifully arranged, so this felt a little jarring. To top off our wonderful experience, we were visited by what I suspect was the owner. He, along with our server and the gentleman who brought our food, were all very friendly and welcoming. If you're considering trying Nomi's, I highly recommend it! The food will truly make your taste buds dance! I do wonder how service might be during busier times, but overall, it was a delightful visit!"
