"The restaurant was conveniently located for us, and the menu looked appealing. However, upon arrival, they were unable to verify our reservation and didn’t have a table ready. We waited about 15 minutes before anyone acknowledged us, giving us plenty of time to decide on our meals by the time the server finally approached. Unfortunately, it then took an additional 25-30 minutes for our food to arrive. We ordered a Caesar salad, sliders, and lobster mac and cheese, none of which I would choose to have again. On a positive note, the beer was good and the atmosphere seemed lively. There was live music, which was impressive, but the overall noise level made it nearly impossible to hold a conversation."

Additionally, the restaurant itself had a lovely ambience. The decor and setting were inviting and comfortable, also deserving a rating of 4 out of 5. In summary, while the service and atmosphere were commendable, the food left much to be desired. I hope they can improve their menu to match the quality of their service and surroundings."

"This little spot is one of the best kept secrets in the cities. It doesn't look like much from the outside. Even when you go in, it just looks like a regular neighbor bar that probably serves regular neighborhood bar food. Nothing could be more wrong. The food is surprisingly excellent and they have quite a range of different selections on the menu. All the food is good including such mundane items as hotdogs or the fried egg sandwich. The hotdog has a nice hardwood smoked flavor and the fried egg sandwich has a just a hint of subtle horseradish. Their Penne and Cheese is as good as any Mac and Cheese you'll find in the cities. For appetizers, you won't find any better than the sesame seed encrusted Tuna Tataki or the Fillet Mignon with gorgonzola. For dessert we always get the pistachio cheese cake with raspberry coullee. You can't go wrong here."

"My wife and I have been waiting months for Alaina’s to finally open up for dinner and it was well worth the wait! Their food has always been very creative, always fresh and beautifully presented. We had hoped that if their lunches were any indication of what dinner would be like, we wouldn’t be disappointed... we definitely weren’t!!! We had their steamed little necks in a heavenly broth, grilled shishito peppers that were different and really delicious, followed by a shaved cauliflower salad that was quite unique and very tasty. Our entrees didn’t disappoint, with my wife ordering an ‘airline chicken with spaghetti squash and broccolini and I having the schnitzel with red cabbage and mashed potatoes. How we ever managed dessert, we still don’t know, but we shared an apple pie a la mode ... another home run!!! Try Alaina’s, the restaurant is wonderful, owned by two charming, lovely ladies and we promise you won’t be disappointed!!!"

"This hideaway is truly a hole in the wall. Unique seating in the back and dim lighting creates a cozy environment. Our group ordered 3 different dishes, all lacking spices and seasoning. No drink menu, but offer a full bar. It's best when a place offers specialty drinks that the bartenders have perfected,my drink was far from that. Would recommend wine or beer here."

"Dead Dog has a track record of serving disappointing food, but typically, that’s not the main reason people go there. However, tonight's experience with both the food and service was especially poor. Our waitress seemed overwhelmed with too many tables. I ordered onion rings but received French fries instead. When I asked for tartar sauce, I got cocktail sauce instead. I inquired about the fried oysters, and the waitress assured me they were good; otherwise, I would have chosen something different. Unfortunately, they were among the worst I’ve ever had — about ten small ones, each only the size of the tip of my index finger. The salad was also limp. Overall, not a great dining experience."
