"This was one of my favorite spots for many years and love the new location but it seems like the staff or management has recently changed…the employees working the cafe area on the night of Tuesday, July 2nd were very hostile and unwelcoming. Google Maps clearly indicates that Living Room closes at midnight, however at 11PM they kicked everyone out of the cafe area even though people in the hookah area were allowed to stay and were unbothered. While people were packing up their stuff to leave, the employees in the cafe area started slamming dishes loudly and passive aggressively, while also constantly giving dirty looks to the customers. Paul (not sure if he still works here) is honestly absolutely amazing and an incredible person, he works so hard and has always been so friendly. He is absolutely not one of the rude employees here. The other new employees here however have such an unnecessary, immature attitude. Some of us work 60 80 hour weeks, and you’re rolling your eyes at me because I’m asking you to make a coffee at your job? Many people who come to this cafe have been repeat customers I’ve been coming here for 20+ years and have brought many friends here, so I’m not sure why these new employees are risking losing customers by being so unprofessional and hostile. I will be taking my business elsewhere until the attitude here changes."
