"Our waitress was incredibly friendly and quickly brought us water. Our food was served promptly. I ordered the chicken curry bento box lunch special with white rice. It came with tempura vegetables, shumai, and a four-piece California roll. The tempura vegetables were perfectly fried, and the shumai was equally crispy—definitely one of my favorites! The California roll provided a nice balance to the fried elements of the meal. You can truly gauge a restaurant's quality by its rice, and theirs was cooked to perfection!
As for the chicken curry, I think I might have misunderstood what I was expecting. The chicken was more on the boiled side, which isn’t my preferred preparation, so I set it aside. However, the sautéed vegetables more than made up for that! The curry sauce was mildly spicy, more of a clear sauce with some seasonings sprinkled throughout. Personally, I wouldn’t order it with chicken next time; I might try it with shrimp or just stick with the vegetables.
The fantastic roll was absolutely delicious, as was the spicy crab roll. Their sushi rolls are incredibly addictive! I can't resist ordering their signature Eagle Roll due to its uniqueness. This roll is fried with a cream cheese center and offers a delightful array of textures and flavors on the palate.
