"We've visited this wonderful restaurant four times whenever we're in town, and we always make a point to reserve a table. However, on this occasion, we encountered a disappointing experience that prompted me to share what happened and consider other dining options. I ordered a salad and requested that it be tossed with dressing because, for me, doing it myself doesn't work well due to the size of the serving bowl. I thought this was a reasonable request, as I've never had an issue with it at other places.
When our orders arrived, I was informed that my salad had been tossed this time, but I was told that in the future, they wouldn't be able to do this anymore due to being too busy. I was taken aback. I hadn't requested any substitutions or ordered off-menu items. I believe management might want to revisit this aspect of their service. Unfortunately, I’m now left looking for another place to eat. It's disappointing because it would have been better for the kitchen to remain silent about their workload, or for the waitress not to convey that comment to a paying customer. This restaurant might be successful, but that attitude was uncalled for and inappropriate."
