"I have been on a mission to find the best and most authentic bubble tea with a good variety at reasonable prices, and I finally found it at Pochi Cafe! Located at 921 E. Johnstown Road, Columbus, Ohio 43230, this place is amazing! It's conveniently positioned just off Hamilton Avenue, beyond Morse Road, in a plaza next to an OSU medical building, Dog Spaw, and Mr. Wok, directly across from a standalone CVS.
Pochi Cafe boasts a wide selection of traditional boba tea with various milk options, as well as numerous tea variations. They not only offer classic boba pearls but also delightful popping bubbles that burst in your mouth, releasing flavorful liquids—what a fun experience! A large bubble tea in any flavor is just $5.00, and a medium is only $3.50—super affordable!
But bubble tea isn't the only highlight here; their smoothies and extensive coffee menu are also impressive. With at least 20 different coffee blends available, I highly recommend the Almond Joy—it's absolutely delicious!
Now, let’s talk about the food. Wow, the food! Their deli salads are out of this world. The broccoli salad is fantastic, combining fresh broccoli, sunflower seeds, raisins, red onions, and an irresistible slaw dressing. I was so impressed that I bought a pound of it to take home after my meal (which includes a deli side or salad and a drink)!
I ordered the Reuben, made with freshly sliced meat, topped with tasty slaw and melted cheese. It arrived open-faced—while it may not have been the most visually appealing, the taste is legendary! They use a pizza oven to toast the bread just right, making the cheese melty and indulgent.
I loved it so much that I returned the next day for the meatball stromboli—it’s that good!"
