"Very much a true Alaskan restaurant in appearance, with wood everywhere. Atmosphere is very nice, very friendly. VERY busy night. We were a large group (10 people, including 4 kids ages 2 thru 14 . Service was good and attentive. Menu had rather limited selections, possibly due to the time of year (mid-March . So a little disappointed given the hype this restaurant receives. Prices were also rather high, but not outrageous for Alaska (37 year resident here. , particularly when the large portion sizes are factored in. Salad bar has a good selection, and the plates are NOT tiny like many others. Servers made a couple of mistakes on our order, which were corrected immediately with no issues. And there is a bar if you are alone or looking for the dive-bar atmosphere.Overall, good place to visit on vacation. Bring an appetite and expect to probably need a 'to go box ' for leftovers.
