"The ambiance was decent, with a DJ playing music that was initially quite loud, though the owner had him turn it down after a while. The DJ did play some good tunes. The lights were dimmed, and they placed small lamps on the tables, which added a cute touch but made it difficult to see the food. At one point, another table turned on the ceiling fan light above them, and the other diners started laughing, agreeing that we all needed more light.
Our server was very sweet and accommodating. She seemed a bit overwhelmed, but every time she approached our table, she did so with a soft voice and a smile. However, the food took about an hour to arrive. The kids' meals came out first, so we watched them eat before our meals were finally served after they finished. At that point, the kids just sat and watched us eat, which was disappointing.
While our server was lovely, I was quite let down by the overall service. On a positive note, the food was delicious! Everything we ordered was scrumptious, and we all enjoyed the flavors. Unfortunately, two of our orders were incorrect, possibly due to miscommunication with the loud music when the order was taken.
Overall, I wouldn’t return to dine in with family, but I would consider ordering takeout or coming here for a girls' night out."
