"When I entered this small restaurant, I encountered a waitress who also acted as the host. I politely requested a bowl of soup, specifically ramen, and mentioned that I wanted it to be not spicy. However, to my surprise, she served me spicy ramen instead. Are you serious? The soup was just okay—I'd give it one star. I also ordered a roll, but it was nothing special. Would I recommend this place to someone who doesn't like their food? Absolutely not. Overall, the experience was disappointing, and the sushi wasn’t fresh."

"So my company provides month end close lunches for our staff. Working hard having yummy food is of a huge matter to me. After we did some yelp digging we found Yasai! This mom pop shop does not disappoint. There is such variety that could accommodate pretty much anyone those with vegetarian or dietary restrictions. Just earlier this month we called in for a special order for a colleague cuz her order was pretty strict Yasai was able to make it! Teriyaki tofu plate w/ no rice salad dressing on the side. She said it was delish! We couldn't be more happier to give them any business they can get. We have ordered lunch from them twice now with 15 20 orders each time. What makes it convenient for us was that we were able to place the order online ahead of time! In the comment of each order we placed my colleague's name any notes needed. We did call Yasai to inform them of a huge order coming through for what day to please make sure each order has a name on it. They were very accommodating! They have gotten every order right nothing was missed. My colleagues were very happy with their food selection. They claim the beef chicken were tender well seasoned. Some said additional sauces isn't even needed. All was fresh tasting too. I truly do love how their plates comes with veggie skewers too! What I have had so far was all very yummy! What I have had : [5.0/5.0] Yaki Udon Beef [4.5/5.0] Sashimi Salad w/ Ponzu Sauce [5.0/5.0] Salmon Tempura Crunch Roll Combo [4.5/5.0] Udon Soup [5.0/5.0] Oriental Sumi Salad If you guys are looking for individual ordering or even group/office ordering Yasai is a great spot to get food humbling service from! I can't wait to come back here for their food :"

"I feel terrible for giving them one star. But, honestly this place shouldn't be in business. The staff were all attentive and kind. However, the food part of the experience was TERRIBLE. The fish was very cheap and didn't seem fresh. I didn't eat my lunch. My boyfriend threw most of his away, too. Everything was put into TONS of plastic and styrofoam even though we were dining there to eat. They didn't have containers of soy sauce. Only small packets that were very cheap/unhealthy ingredients. Even the spring rolls and pot stickers weren't great. The tap water didn't taste fresh. Unfortunately, I would HIGHLY recommend against dining here. :"

"100% recommend this place! Always fresh sushi, friendly staff, great prices and pleasant warm atmosphere. I recently opened new business across the street Uplifted Medical Aesthetics and i can tell you its too tempting not to go to Hoka Hoka every single day! For it only takes us to cross the street to get tasty fresh sushi! But we do go there at least twice a week!"

"I Absolutely had the Worst time at this location. Everything that could've Happened , Happened. My girlfriend and i went to have lunch and cocktails.. To start things off our waitress seems as if she was irritated and was a little rude.we ordered our drinksmy girlfriend noticed her glass was dirty and when i received my drink wich was a Bloody Mary i asked if i could have the olivesand Celery that was supposed to be in the drink along with the pickles. She left our table went to the kitchen area for about10-15 min. Came out went to the Bar said something to the person there she came back to our table with some old frozen celeryand three pickles that went on a burger .she told me they were out of olives and they don't usually serve celery with bloodymarys..so i told her but yes it clearly says here in the drink description.So after that we order our food and and waited awhileto get our meals. She bought one thing at a time we had to keep asking for the rest of our meal half way through eating mygirlfriend See's a hair fried in her chicken strip..this was an Horrible experience..from the Bad Customer service, dirty glass,frozen And old celery, Not to mention the dirt or mold that was on my ice that i had to ask for three times. I asked to speak tothe Manager or person in charge. He agreed that everything that could've happened did...so he left the table came backapologized told us he took care of our bill and gave us a $5.00 gift card for our Troubles...and to add insult to injury he sayshave a good day stood there at our table my girlfriend and i looked at each other and i said to her ok well let's go and hewalked us to the door as if we were being escorted out....They Need Better Management, Staff Customer relations, Training onCleanliness ,Quality of Food...??????????"
