"Johnny Rockets was great! Good food and excellent service but it is located inside of Cliff Castle Casino. I gave five stars since this review is for Johnny Rockets but read about the hotel below. Cliff Castle Cadino is a scam! We drove down fromPhoenix spent $180 for one night and found out we are staying in the dump hotel beneath the casino. It is called The Lodge atCliff Castle Casino when there is no Casino. It should be called the The Lodge Near (but not walking distance to) Cliff CastleCasino. Why would they advertise it is a Casino, when it is not. The lady at the front desk was rude, and said I should havecalled her before booking the room so she could explain it to me. Sorry, I don 't know who you are, so how do I know to call youbefore I made my reservation. Crazy response to an upset guest at their hotel. Update: we decided to leave The Cliff CastleCasino and drive back to Phoenix and sleep in our own bed in fear of bed bugs. The TV didn 't work, it says, 'No signal '. Thereare no outlets to plug in a phone or computer. The walls are paper thin so you can hear everyones conversations. Theairconditioner is not keeping the room cool and it sounds like an airplane taking off when it does turn on. The carpet by theairconditioner is soaking wet and I can see blackmold in the carpet. The room has a terrible smell, which is probably from themold and cigarette smoke. The smell engulfs you when you first walk in the room. We noticed the same smell in our clothes andhair while in the car after we left. We thought the smell could be coming from the airconditioner itself, or from outside nearthe pool where we saw five large black garbage bags saturated flies. We could smell it driving here from The Casino where Ithought we were staying. The sliding glass door doesn 't have a lock. We tried to call the front desk but the phone does notwork, I-kid-you-not. Unbelievable, we are outta here!"

"The environment at Johnny Rockets is wonderful! The 50s Diner aesthetic is fun and nostalgic. I usually get the Beyond Burger which never disappoints. Service is excellent! If it's crowded it can take a little longer to get a seat, but I find that it adds to the more relaxed feel from a less-hurried time. The only confusion I have is the Pepsi. The 50s were all about Coca-Cola and the decorations remind you as much, but you can't get a classic Chocolate Coke because they only serve Pepsi product … – show"

"My friend and I visited Johnny Rockets yesterday for the first time and the service only met the bare minimum, if that. We were sat quickly, but waited about 15 minutes for our server to even ask for our drink. There were only 3 tables at the time and a simple glass of water while we waited would've been nice. We also noticed that there were complaints from people picking up their to-go orders as the kitchen forgot to make their items. When we were finished with our meals, we had to wait about 30 minutes for our checks/to-go boxes, which we only got because one of the bar backs could tell that we were tired of waiting. It's pretty appalling that the burgers don't come with a side of fries, but my friend and I decided to split an order of fries. Now to the absolue horror of the food... I ended up getting food poisoning from my meal and I had the smoke house double beef burger. I've never had food poisoning in my life, but about an hour afterwards, I began throwing up on/off until the next morning. The beef and/or bacon was definitely contaminated because my friend had a turkey burger and felt fine. The restaurant itself was cute, although the booths were quite sticky. Also noticed that they didn't clean off the booth next to us and sat a couple. They had to clean the table off themselves. I'm glad I finally tried out Johnny Rockets cause I won't be back."

"I loved Johnny Rockets since I was a kid, the one in Queens NYC shut down a long time ago.I was happy I found this restaurant again, I love the old school decor and the cute uniforms the waiters wear.I like most of the burgers and fries, milkshakes and sandwiches they are tasty and good.This burger joint has an old school theme which will make you feel nostalgia with lovely juke boxes at every table."

"This restaurant is fantastic! The service is quick, the burgers and fries are good, and the employees are super polite. I would highly recommend this spot if you're looking for a quick meal. The prices are what you would expect in a mall. We ate here quickly before going to a movie. The kids got burgers, while I had the grilled chicken sandwich. We all enjoyed our food, including the fries. The decor is lovely and nostalgic, with a 50s vibe that appeals to all generations. Our server, Joseph, was excellent. They offer a QR code for the menu or traditional menus. Definitely give this place a try and consider leaving a rating to help others."

"Unfortunately this is the second time my wife and I have been let down by this location. The first time my wife wanted fries so we ordered fries to go, waited 30 minutes and no fries, we just left as they didn’t even take payment when we ordered. The second time was on a Thursday. The time was around 6:45pm, the place was dead, walked up to the counter and was told “We are closed”. What’s weird is their own door says they close at 9:00pm, google and apple say they close at 8:00pm, and the worker said they close at 7:00pm. Get it together. I know this isn’t the workers fault; this stems from poor management and communication. Worst Johnny Rockets location I’ve ever been to."

"It's got the 50's diner vibe and food to match it! The food tasted really fresh, its not an overloaded size so you won't feel grotesque. I got the chicken BLT with jalepenos in sourdough. "I came to this place because I saw this sign where they advertise that you can substitute Impossible meat ON ANY BURGER for extra charger $2,50. So I order The Original and Spicy Houston by cashier. After that manager yell that we can have only TheOriginal with Vegan Patty. She was busy with another customer for a while so I decided to not wait and step back. Then shecalled me and repeated that I can?t have the burger, she said something a about owner and when I asked why they advertised thatwhen it?s not possible to have it, she interrupt me with ?excuse me? and offer me I can have this burger with Black bean patty???? So I can have it with black bean but not with impossible? Ridiculous, they build burgers from scratch, I did not get theanswer just that ?The owner said that, thats it? The manager really didn?t handle this situation and it was not really friendlyand professional service. We left, they lost two customers, they made me to write this review and lost other customers. It wasworth it?"

"The counter was a complete mess, filled with leftover food and drinks. When I tried to clear a space to sit down, a server came over to inform me that I couldn’t sit there, even though two other girls were already occupying the spot. My food was ready and sitting in the window, but they didn’t call my name—even though I had placed "Trish" on my order, as you can see on my receipt. My meal just sat there while people walked by, thinking it was theirs. I won’t be coming back! I was hoping for a nice day out with my son, but this experience was disappointing. I thought it would be a nice trip down memory lane since I hadn’t visited in a long time."
