"rarely do I write a bad review and that is one of the worst experiences ever. when we first arrived, we were greeted by a friendly server. we told him that we had stopped and then a sudden other server took our table instead of this first server. the server that service us is paul. paul was very hard to read. He came over rude, unhappy, but also when we asked him. we told him that it was our first time to eat there, and I immediately felt unwilling. we sat inside and we fought for the connection with paul the waiter. of course, the service was terrible. we realized after reading all bad reviews that this place will meet their regular, first-class snob customers. even the manager was rude and didn't even care to stop at our table and say hi, but ended up catering for an older family of four who looked like regular. the service was slow from this point. if they don't see the part, don't bother, come to this place. they are rude and do not want new customers. Save your money and go somewhere else. the service worst!"

"A friend and I stopped in for dinner as soon as we arrived, and the aroma in the restaurant was absolutely delightful. The decor is beautiful—don’t forget to look up at the ceiling! We chose to sit at the bar, which was a fantastic experience as we got to watch the chefs prepare everything from the bread to our pasta dishes. The bread was incredibly good, and the pasta was delicious. My friend ordered the fettuccine, while I opted for the vodka pasta with chicken, which had an amazing cream sauce. We also tried the calamari, which was tasty. Our waitress was very friendly, adding to the overall positive experience. I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Whitefish!"

"Update from January 30, 2022: This restaurant remains a favorite in our lineup of go-to dining spots. The quality of both the food and service consistently exceeds expectations. I really appreciate that they require proof of vaccination for diners. My personal favorite dish is the eggplant parmigiana. We've tried nearly everything on the menu, and it has never disappointed us. We've been visiting this fantastic place for over 15 years. They currently offer both indoor and outdoor dining, and the bar is open as well. The food and service are just as exceptional as ever, providing a warm, homey atmosphere. I love dipping their bread in olive oil and balsamic vinegar. I usually order from their specials or get the linguini with shrimp. I also recommend the ravioli, calamari, lasagna—honestly, everything is great. For dessert, the tiramisu and crème brûlée are our top picks. We celebrated my friend's 40th birthday here before the pandemic, and they even created a personalized menu for the occasion."

"Ferro is a charming restaurant located under the pine trees, offering a diverse and reasonably-priced menu. The kitchen does a great job, and the staff is friendly and professional. Bryan provided excellent service, fulfilling all of our wants and wishes with efficiency. We chose to dine here because we personally knew many of the world-class musicians performing that evening, and the music was outstanding. The overall experience was magical. It is recommended to check availability directly with the restaurant, and when making a reservation through Open Table, specify your seating preference. The rear patio is especially enjoyable when there is live music."

"Wanted to try this place for a long time, after doing some food shopping me and my girlfriend decided to place an order to go and share a dish. We ordered the Rigatoni Al La Vodka and added chicken. For the side salad we got a ceaser salad, but the girl on the phone did not mention it would be a 4 dollar upcharge rather than getting the house salad. In total I spent $37, add in the tip and it goes to $40. This is key for this review. The bread was solid, nothing spectacular but solid. The salad was very small, very few croutons and very little cheese, and the pasta dish was a very good flavorful sauce, decent pasta and not very good chicken. So overall, while we did enjoy the flavors of the pasta, for 40 dollars, we got one large dish of pasta with very little chicken and chicken that wasn't that good, a very small Caesar salad that wasnt very good and bread that was decent. I would consider giving this place another chance at some point down the line, but I can spend $40 on better quality food and get alot more of it."

"I wouldn't have discovered this Persian restaurant if it hadn't been for OpenTable. Located not far from LAX in Lawndale, it turned out to be a fantastic find for Afghan and other ethnic dishes; I particularly enjoyed the kabobs and various rice dishes. They also offer Italian options. The restaurant has a lunch menu as well. Situated in a bustling shopping center, there's plenty of free parking available. The service was attentive and personal. The restaurant has been recently refurbished and has a warm, inviting atmosphere. I will definitely be bringing my business colleagues back for a great meal."

"This was super disappointing. Found this restaurant on Open Table. The reviews couldn't have been legit. It was a Saturday night and only 2 other tables taken. Should have been a red flag but decided to give it a shot. Service was decent but that was the only thing unfortunately. The mozzarella ball wasn't even melted. We cut into it and the cheese was still cold. The marinara was cold as well. The salads came out. Super mediocre. We ordered diet soda that was warm and flat. Not drinkable. Then, we hoped the main course would be edible but was far from. The ribeye was like a cheap food 4 less steak. The pasta was extremely salty with no flavor. The chicken piccata was gross. Barely had a few bites and just stopped myself from eating. The worst part of all of this is we spent $175. Please save your money. I felt bad because you could tell that they were trying with all the work they put into the decorations but they should think about putting effort into the cook. He has absolutely no idea what he's doing back there. It's a tell tell sign when it's Saturday night and not a soul in sight. There's potential but they are completely focused on the wrong things."
