The plate was hot and fresh, and it cost about $11, including a soda. "I had made a reservation for 7:30. It was my son's birthday. We also stayed at the River Crab hotel there . We were seated at 7:45 At 8:05 No one still had come to.our table. Had to ask for water and 8:15 a boy brought us water and said he would send over a waitress. 8:30 still no waitress Got up and told the hostess to please send a waitress. 8 :40 still no one. Every waitress passed out table like we were not even there. I.was so upset that we got up and left the restaurant and went somewhere else.to eat. There were 4 of us and my son's birthday was totally ruined!!!!!. I have never in my life treated so poorly at a restaurant. I will be sure to tell my friends of the horrible service we received. NO EXCUSE FOR THIS KIND OF SERVICE!!!!!!!!!"

"Its not a fancy restaurant but the food is Delicious, one thing I must say is the mofongo here is well done but they give you either the grease from the pork chop or the water that they boil the chicken in to pour over your mofongo, they aren't puerto rican they're south american so they dont really know better that its supposed to be served with either caldito de pollo or el caldo de sopa de pollo but when i asked for caldito de pollo they brought me the water they boiled the chicken in for the empanadas smdh I ended up taking it home, making caldito de pollo myself and finishing my plate at home. Other than that the food is pretty good, can't brag about the beans tho."

"The staff at this restaurant were extremely impolite. When I inquired about my order, the woman working here ignored me. My meal came with unexpected additional coffees instead of the ones I ordered, without any explanation. When I asked for the correct coffees, the woman rudely demanded payment and treated me disrespectfully. I do not recommend eating here, as the unpleasantness of the employees makes it not worth the trouble."

"Brasitas in Stamford has become a really cute place and they have a lovely team of waiters, all very friendly and attentive. They are going the right way: shorten the menu selection and keep only the best dishes. And have a few specials of the day. The roasted beets with burrito and figs on endive was wonderful. The Mojito Cubanos were a little weak. But good. The paella easily served two; it is not made like the Spanish version (a risotto cooked in the pan that it is served in) but more like seafood on top of Arroz con pollo. There was plenty of seafood; they could improve a little on the rice; but we both liked the dish nonetheless. The tres Leche dessert was delicious! it seemed to have a topping of guava Gelato- excellent! "Came here to honor my Uncle Miguel who loved to eat here. Gathered with family and had a very nice lunch. Everyone was very attentive and helpful. They let my toddler explore a little which I appreciated haha I had the ropa veija and it was delicious with yellow rice and sweet platanos. Thank you for being a place my Uncle loved so much. Our requests were met quickly and with a friendly smile. "I felt uneasy while waiting for my Cuban coffee, which I absolutely love, after two assumptions were made: 1. That I spoke or understood any Spanish at all. 2. That I wanted to order a breakfast sandwich. As the only female customer in a consistently busy establishment, these assumptions left me feeling uncomfortable, which may influence how often I enjoy their delicious food and drinks in the future. Customers shouldn’t feel guilty or ashamed for declining upsells. I simply wanted to grab some coffee to thank a friend for a favor, and instead, I left feeling like everyone was watching me."

"After watching Top Gun: Maverick with my best friend, we decided to visit our favorite Cuban restaurant, Black Bean Deli, and as always, it did not disappoint! It’s a fantastic spot for a quick and delicious meal at any time. We ordered two dishes—the Spanish Baked Chicken and the Havana Pork—and the portions were more than enough for both of us, with leftovers to take home. "I have been away from Brazil for a while and wanted a taste of home. Unfortunately, I was very disappointed. There is no air conditioning or fans, so it was very hot inside. Our waitress was nice, but overall the service was not good at all, and not prompt or attentive, and we had to ask for everything. The food was not particularly tasty, the rice and beans bland, and the meat overcooked even though we asked for medium-rare."
