"I wonder if it's possible to get a less than amazing taco in Texas? If so, I haven't found one.Taco Joint was a place we stumbled upon while walking around Austin for a few hours on a Friday afternoon. The cashier was cheerful and helpful, the tacos reasonably priced, as well as delicious and creative! These tacos definitely had more going on that some of the simpler ones we'd tried while visiting the state, but they were amazing! The meat was cooked perfectly, the toppings generous and the flavors mingled perfectly with the sauces they provide at no extra cost. I probably preferred the street taco slightly bc I'm a s for citrus and the lime juice over the top really took this to the next level. El 4/20 was fun and creative with the shoestring potatoes on top.There's plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. I would definitely recommend this joint!"
