"I attended a monthly meeting hosted by the District 4 GOP as a guest. When I arrived, I checked in with the hostess and let her know that we wouldn’t be dining. She assured us that dinner was included, so we took her word for it. However, after the dinner and meeting, I returned to my table and discovered a bill for $54 per meal. The dinner itself was quite mediocre— the fish and potatoes were lackluster, the broccoli was decent, but the dessert fell flat. I only had water to drink, and overall, the meal felt more like it was worth about $15 at most. The atmosphere was below average. On the plus side, the service staff was excellent. Lesson learned!"
