"I’ve gotten food here ~15x and always held off on reviewing because my experiences were so inconsistent. Besides the fries- which have been delicious every time. I’m reviewing now because on the last 4/5 pizzas I ordered, I paid for extra cheese— which the pizza did NOT have.Very important to me to support local business, which I know often hire teens for what may be their first job. Missing something once or twice isn’t a big deal losing a few bucks is worth it to me to keep local business owners around- especially if the food is good there’s at least a decent showing of ingredients.However, the pizzas here have gotten continually less tasty and have come with less less the amount of even basic toppings. I know we’re all feeling the squeeze , as I said, I don’t mind paying more or paying extra if it keeps my neighbors in business..but as a student and good faith customer, if I’m gonna do that- I expect to get what I paid for AT LEAST most of the time.Last time I got a pizza, I paid for extra cheese but the pie didn’t even have the regular amount— 1/4 of the pizza was essentially naked.That’s the last time I’ll be ordering a pie from BHoP. There are plenty of places in Bristol I can overpay for mediocre food— and they’re easier to park at/get to!"
