"Stopped in for a quick dinner. Noted that menu items shown on the website are not on the menu in the restaurant. Menu is kind of limited and like everywhere else prices are high. I might have liked to try roast chicken dinner but not for $30. So I had a burger and it was excellent! Medium rare as requested. Lightly grilled bun and fresh toppings. A nice char on the good sized patty. Hot and juicy. Attentive and friendly service from my server and the host. Just what I was looking for. "Very good food sandwiches, burgers, real fresh fried French fries, potatoe chips, cheese curds. very interesting building and layout of the bar. Wide selection of beers on tap, the prices of drinks fluctuate after 8pm. I googled the buildings history while waiting for dinner. It turns out the building used to be a Gibson Guitar factory and warehouse."

"Stu's is a cozy and charming bar that has recently been renovated. It is one of the smallest bars I have ever seen, but it is filled with character. The bar has approximately 6 flat screen TVs and tall pub tables. The interior has been freshly painted and is centered around a long bar with a jukebox. Stu's has a welcoming atmosphere where everyone knows your name and has a story to tell, reminiscent of the TV show Cheers. The beers are very affordable at $1.25, and you will be greeted by many friendly regulars as soon as you walk through the door. It's a great spot to relax and enjoy a drink with some jolly old timers!"

"You go through the door and you will swear that you are in Germany. It is very authentic in its decor as well as the food. This is a must for me every trip to Peoria. While the whole food is excellent, I almost always get the Jaegerschnitzel with Sauerkraut and Spaetzle, although I sometimes opted for potatoes instead of the sparrow. Staff are very friendly and prompt in their service. If you happen to be unfamiliar with German foods, they are quite knowledgeable and will guide you in the right direction. I can't say enough about this place, and you and your family and friends make a huge service if you don't pass. The only thing I wish was specific on the menu to wash all the great food, but that's the only one."

"A traditional German style pub with amazing food!! I absolutely love the jagerschnitzel from their dinner menu. It comes with red cabbage (or creamed spinach) and speatzleand a small side of apple sauce. I always order and extra side of German potato salad to go with it. It’s amazing. "Just visited this new burger place. Food was quite good. Burgers were tasty, buns soft, toppings plentiful. Enjoyed the fries dipping sauces... must say, tho... burgers are on the small side. I'd say the size is between a slider and meal sized burger, tho with a gourmet burger price tag. 2 burgers, 1 order of fries 2 cans of soda, plus tip was $35. Ultimately, we polished it all off and both felt it was enough.. it just much smaller than anywhere else we have been. Decor was attractive booth seats comfy with pillows. Cooking fumes are quite strong despite a back door being open. The grill is quite loud as well. We left but the yummy burger scent will be with us on our clothes the rest of the day.. I'll be back for a light meal but will likely take it to go next time."

"Erbert and Gerberts deserves all the praise it gets. Having worked downtown and lived in their delivery area, I can confidently say they serve some of the best subs and soups around. Words can't fully express how highly I recommend this place—just go and try it for yourself! If you enjoy seafood, don’t miss out on their crab subs; adding guacamole takes it to another level. "Food is ALWAYS absolutely delicious, fresh, and different. Try the french onion soup, fish, filet, roasted cauliflower, lobster tacos with homemade slaw( to die for), pork chop. Everything I have eaten so far has been AMAZING!!! Servers aren't the greatest. I shouldn't have to ask for a refill on a drink, I would like them to ask how everything is after a couple bites of food, and to check again towards end of meal. I am a server and those two things are top priority at my job. These have all been times where the servers were NOT busy. Will return for both lunch and dinner!! UPDATE Aug.2, 2018: Jim has been our server, he is supurb!!! He remembers what we ordered last time, keeps drinks filled, and checks at appropriate times!! We will ask for him now anytime we go! Food continues to be delicious and consistant!!!"
