"We had a late lunch on Saturday with my son, who is from Carleton. After hearing positive feedback from friends, we decided to try out Tokyo Grill. Our group of four all agreed on a solid five-star rating. Don't let the restaurant's location on the main street fool you; it's truly a fantastic dining spot. We started with perfectly salted edamame and a spicy dipping sauce. Most of us chose the Bento boxes, which provided a generous serving of delicious food. The sushi was excellent too, along with a variety of other options on the menu. The service was exceptional. Honestly, this has become my top pick for lunch!"

"I had a wonderful experience with the customer service! There was an abundance of food. The hibachi dishes are prepared in the kitchen, so there's no need to wait at the grilling station. The sushi is beautifully presented and generously portions the fish in every roll. The tuna tataki appetizer had just the right balance of flavor and texture. However, the selection of sake was limited, and my first choice was out of stock when I tried to order it. I did notice a red lipstick mark on one of the wine glasses. Despite these minor issues, the overall quality of the food was very good."

"That said, regarding the filet mignon, it seemed like it might not have been a true cut or perhaps a lower-quality one. While it tasted okay, it wasn’t great, and it was cooked a bit more than we would have liked. I’m willing to give it another try as sometimes steaks can vary greatly in quality. The salmon, on the other hand, was delightful. We did experience a longer wait for our food, but it was worth it. The restaurant felt a bit warm as well. Overall, I would recommend this place!"

"Ate here for lunch after my son's Pharmacy school graduation at Ole Miss. The food was very good and plenty of it. The staff were friendly and attentive to our needs. The place was full when we arrived but we were seated within 5 or so minutes. Clean and pleasant atmosphere. I wish it were close to home so I could visit often."

"There is genuinely no excuse for what just occurred from the drinks to the appetizers to the entrees only a single item was acceptable we ordered Pepsi and received a glass of flat soda that vaguely tasted like Pepsi for our appetizer we ordered shrimp tempura and received 2 pieces of shrimp one of which was not deveined coated in batter that was somehow too thick and too moist the vegetables were generally off putting for whatever reason they were fried and completely flavorless we then ordered the chicken and shrimp combination box with miso soup and a salad and received a bowl of soup? I 've had miso soup many times but never have I had it separate into layers before it 's even placed on the table it was tolerable at best but not at all what you would expect the salad was standard albeit a bit small no complaints there the entree was almost acceptable the chicken and shrimp had good flavor but the shrimp was rubbery and the rice was undercooked and some of it wasn 't fried at all but by far the worst offender of the evening was their volcano rolls it came in a plastic box and appeared fine at first glance upon opening the box the pungent aroma of fish essentially uppercuts you the presentation was fine but it just covered up fried seaweed wrapped around crab and tuna that hadn 't been fried with the rest of it my girlfriend couldn 't even swallow one bite without spitting it out she also ordered a side of white rice that was devoid of flavor altogether they didn 't even use butter this has been my worst dining experience in Glasgow by far altogether our bill was 50$ and all we could stomach was the chicken and shrimp there is absolutely NO REASON to eat here you 'd be better off trusting the sonic/gas station/subway combo store in horse cave I downloaded yelp just to leave this review and I 'm not just complaining for free food my experience was truly dreadful I wouldn 't go back if they paid me to eat the food -7/10 the only way it could get worse is if they had bugs in the food"

"The decor of the restaurant is a bit underwhelming. But ! The staff is extremely friendly and attentive. I travel a lot and have eaten in many tepanyaki/hibachi style Japanese Steakhouses . I usually have minimal expectations as I am often unimpressed with the preparation. Last night I ordered the Steak/Chicken hibachi combo. The mushroom broth (soup) and the salad with the sesame ginger were pretty standard. The entree arrived and I was visually impressed. The steak had a fantastic appearing sear. The fried rice appeared pretty plain. Taste-wise ! WOW. The steak WAS PERFECTLY SEARED, cooked to tender and very tender. The chicken was also fantastic. The rice was delicious with a bit of pepper. I was very satisfied. Brought about half to work the next day and even after an office microwave reheating the meat and rice were delicious. If you are in or near town stop by and enjoy a delicious meal."
