"My fiancé and I spontaneously decided to visit this restaurant on Sunday, and we couldn’t have made a better choice! Although we don’t often go to Decatur, we definitely plan to return soon. The food was incredibly fresh, and for the prices, the portions were generous—so much so that we took leftovers home. I just finished mine, and it tasted just as delicious as it did in the restaurant. The staff was friendly, and the music created a nice atmosphere without being too loud. This will definitely be a place we revisit in the future. If you go, I highly recommend trying the build-a-bowl with the spicy basil sauce, and don’t miss out on the pork steamed dumplings—they make for a fantastic appetizer!"

"I've come here before. I love the pumpkin curry. The rice is always good. I'm between the paychecks and the Vet Hall pantry is two days away, so yesterday I went in and had only 5 dollars left and just needed some rice to get me through the working day. She gave me big side of rice and a bunch of sauce and napkins and fork in a bag neat and polite, saving me outrage and hunger. I am incredibly grateful for their all-American and beautiful Thai culture that they share, along with masterfully prepared food that is tasteful, fun and nourishing. "When my company office was in South City, I was on the hunt for banh mi in the area. Little Saigon popped up and I've been coming here where I'm in the area craving Vietnamese. Located right on Linden, it's close to the main drag of Grand, but far enough that it's insanely busy. Past times we've gotten a large order of banh mi (probably 40 sandwiches) and it took them less than 30 minutes all while catering to a lunch crowd. My absolute favorite dish here is the house special flat rice noodles. I would definitely recommend it if you're not into soup noodles. Their pho is also great. The broth is tasty and not greasy. Their Vietnamese coffee is strong and delicious, so I definitely remember that There's a small parking lot, but street parking is also available. Staff is friendly and attentive."

"Dined at this restaurant in mid-November with a group. Was not expecting much based on previous reviews. However, pleasantly surprised that it far exceeded my expectations. Under new ownership since October. The new proprietor/chef loves her craft and uses family recipes that are packed full of wonderful flavors. I could tell she took great care in the preparation, as well as selecting the ingredients and produce. Not only were all 7 dishes that we ordered delicious, but beautifully presented. She was very sweet and humble. I wish her much success."

"A friend raved about this cute little place.We met another couple and all tried it for the first time. Our friends were happy with their food.My wife is gluten free and they had a great understanding of what that meant. We shared the Pad Thai and the Penang Curry. We also had the papaya salad. Everything was good.We felt that the salad was really good. Very tasty!The other dishes were ok. Better than some and not as good as others.On this review, and maybe for the first time ever, I’m not sure if they should get a 4 or a 2 star rating. You should give them a try, if only to support small businesses, and see what you think."

"The quality of your dining experience may vary depending on the day and time of your visit, but I recently went on the weekend. I tried their Lychee Pineapple curry and it was absolutely delicious. I practically licked the plate clean - it was well-balanced and not overly sweet. The Papaya salad was also excellent and had me licking the plate clean as well. My only complaint is that I wish the portion size for the Papaya salad was bigger. The prices were very reasonable and not pretentious. Compared to other restaurants in the area charging $40-60 per plate, this place was just as good if not better, with a diverse menu offering. It's a great alternative to local favorites like Red Chili with comparable quality at a more affordable price point."

"I used to goto this restaurant weekly. I spent maybe $50-$100 per week on curry and soups. Then my order was incorrect one day. No meat. Then they gave me the wrong soup another 2nd order. I told them and they again gave no meat for a 3rd time and they didn’t care. So when I got home with the incorrect order once again I simply called via phone, just to tell them they will NO LONGER HAVE MY BUSINESS. He said “wrong order? Which one?”. So, my money will not ever goto Thai Leaf again. Very disrespectful."

"Really bad Thai food. I love Thai food and I eat it a lot, the flavor here is just bad and the service is even worse. To top it all up we ordered vegan food and got our food with chicken and the waitress said “ohhh it's just little peices of chicken it's ok”. Half of our group returned the food and left and the only thing that the waitress carried about is putting the bill on the table and harass the half that stayed. Please don't give this people your business they don't deserve any support."

"The Salattofu wraps were outstanding—even better than those at PF Chang's! The shrimp spring rolls were also delightful, bursting with a fresh Thai basil flavor. So tasty! The only downside was the heat in the restaurant. The food was excellent, but the temperature was a bit uncomfortable. On the plus side, the staff was very friendly!"

"I frequented Sugar Hill on the weekends to dance in my younger years. I didn't know they also serve food. I enjoyed the food here. I ordered moo ping one of my fav Thai dishes. Although the skewers were small, they were grilled perfectly and the tamarind based sauce complimented it very well. I also ordered thum tang, cucumber salad to pair with the meat. I made the mistake of ordering 5 stars, it was definitely Thai spicy not American spicy. My mouth was on fire. Drinks were strong. Got the Banana clip and Bass'd. This unique flavors of Hennessy and Thai tea sparked my interest and I was glad I tried it.Lights are dim with hip hop music in the background. Perfect place to catch up with girlfriends or have a date night."
