Hamido Seafood New York

This is the best seafood I have ever had. Especially since you choose what you want fresh and it's prepared for you. There will be a little wait time, but it's worth it. The flavors explode in your mouth.

However, there are two must-try items if you're looking to enjoy this experience: the seasoned fries and the calamari. Both were absolutely delicious, and I've never had such plump calamari in the States! They really nailed that!

Outstanding! The butterflied fried porgy was perfectly prepared—neither overcooked nor undercooked, and not overly salted. A single order was enough to serve four people. I savored every delicious bite and highly recommend this dish. The flavors were remarkable, and salt wasn’t the most prominent taste I noticed.

Great quality food and a very unique experience. Love the aspect of picking the seafood you want and letting them know how you would like it to be cooked. If it’s busy, it takes time to come out but you can bring a drink to enjoy. Would definitely come back again and try other options. Highly recommend this place!

I finally made it to Hamido, it was a great experience we were there for lunch. Plenty of seating, we had two types of fish and it reminded me of Alexandria Egypt food taste. The appetizers and fish were amazing and the mint lemon drink.What I really liked the most is that it does not smell like fried/grilled/bake seafood. Restaurant was and smelled clean. The highlight of the meal was definitely the scallops; they were perfectly cooked and well-seasoned. The grilled calamari and shrimp were equally tasty. While the service could have been better, it’s understandable given the busy atmosphere. They offer both outdoor patio seating and an indoor option. Remarkably, the place doesn’t even have that typical seafood restaurant smell, which speaks volumes about their cleanliness.

Not too bad. But it wasn’t my favorite. The food was okay, but has to wait long. They gave us some sides so we wouldn’t get too hungry. They fish chefs at the kitchen outside the dining area were friendly. To me some of the foods weren’t the best. But the fish I ate was good and was very soft. The pasta seemed okay. I have been to this place for the third times in past and each time I go. I enjoy being for Lunch in there my favorite dish was grilled jumbo Shrimps and seafood pizza they'll delicious ? the fresh seafood caught that day, come on in and see the seafood on display, everything is marked at price per pound you can add side dishes at extra charge. This place has pictures from Egyptian from the past.I enjoyed eating in there. I recommend it to anyone who loves fresh seafood comes and eat at Hamido Seafood Restaurant. Ver carta
