Love this place! It's my go-to bagel spot in the area. Everyone has always been really nice, and the bagels are fantastic.

THE ABSOLUTE BEST! Their bacon is so delicious and the coffee is so good! Obviously their bagels are so soft and fresh. Pricy but definitely worth it!

The bagels here are delicious and fresh. The frozen apple cider is also a favorite among customers. There’s pleasant outdoor seating with a fan for warm days and a heater for cooler weather. Prices for bagels are $1.80 without cream cheese, $4 with cream cheese, and $4.95 for specialty cream cheese (as of May 29, 2023).

I had a fantastic experience at this restaurant, enjoying a delightful selection of assorted bagels, cream cheese, and other sandwich favorites. They offer a variety of muffins, although the croissants were a bit doughy and not as crispy as I would have liked. I wish I cld eat here everyday!!! I had the Lox bagel with sun dried tomato cream cheese. They even offer many choices in Mini version! My husband had the everything bagel with plain cream cheese. They have egg sandwiches and even steel cut oat meal with a milk base OR water base!!!!! I LOVE this place. Staff is SO friendly and seem to have a lot of regulars!!! We had the Americano coffee. I’m telling you I love this place!!!!! 10 menu boards and so many choices!!!!!!!!

This is the best breakfast sandwich spot I found in Astoria. Let me tell you about two of their sandwiches: Lox Bagel Sandwich: They are generous with the ox and it is very good quality - not that muddy bland pink fabric that looks like fish Bologna. It is marbled and translucent: I think it could be cut by a real salmon fillet in the house. The bagels themselves are great, and the sandwich is assembled with care and remains together as you eat it. Get this with a roasted bagel and dill cream cheese and it stands up to Russ's daughter. There are some bagel places in Astoria, but Toast Roast was my way when I lived there. The Bagels are as good as any in the neighborhood, and although not as wide as other places, even more than enough choice and still fresh. Toast Roast also has a better coffee than the other bagel places in Astoria, and my children love their hot chocolate and apple wine (in summer, warm in winter). Breakfast plates (eggs, domestic frits, pancakes, bacon, sausage, etc. was exactly what you would expect. Not gourmet, but that's not what you're going to T R.
