"I dined in at the restaurant and opted for the Regular plate, which is a pick-two combo featuring kalua pig, teriyaki steak, white rice, and macaroni salad. While the staff was friendly, I was disappointed with the food. The rice, kalua pig, and macaroni salad were all drenched in teriyaki sauce from the steak. Initially, I was drawn to the rice thinking it was brown rice, but it turned out to be completely soaked in sauce. Everything tasted overwhelmingly of teriyaki sauce. I believe they should offer a plate that keeps the dishes separate. This is just my perspective, but as someone from Hawaii, I’ve never seen kalua pig served with teriyaki sauce. Perhaps Pounders is adjusting to the local tastes, but it would be better to serve the sauce on the side. I did speak with a staff member who agreed that the sauce was quite overpowering. I always like to give a restaurant two chances, so I hope my next visit will be better."

"Went here for my first time to have some takeout for dinner, and I wasn’t let down with the Pad Thai and Thai tea! I had it with medium spice and added a little extra hot sauce (not like Tabasco, but like salsa) from a table with condiments and I loved it! I will need to try more items on the menu, but so far this place has my 5 stars. The ladies are very friendly, and it was a nice little hole in the wall restaurant. Service: Takeaway"

"delicious food! always a good “Köche Wahl”I live in orlando and come with my parents every time to bamboo when I am in the city. they eat a lot in the restaurant and appreciate a great sushi place for which they do not have to go over the bridge. the whole sushi is fresh and so delicious. the boiled foods are also delicious. large selection of beer on tipp and a list of choices. great staff, always friendly and helpful with beer and sushi selection. they know the menu well and make good suggestions."

"Food was very good, tasteful, and lots of it. Only surprise for our first time visit, was the casualness of the restaurant. Simple decor and plain for the price bracket. However, good tasting, and ample food tends to keep one coming back. Not a restaurant for formal conversation. In back of the building is the bar and open seating area. It was packed on this Friday night. That speaks well for the restaurant, also. Upon arriving, the street appearance and location would not typically encouraging one to stop. Most all clients are returning folks who have been there previously."

"I usually only leave a review when I have a very, very good or very, very bad experience. This experience was fantastic! My wife and I were visiting family last week in Niceville. We went to this awesome restaurant on Friday 9/22. We were greeted and asked if we had visited before. We responded that we had not and the staff took the time to explain the menu and answered all of our questions. One of our family members asked about gluten free options and we found out that they have a gluten-free crust pizza (cauliflower crust). My wife and I both ordered the gyro plate and a piece of Baklava. When the food came out, it was obviously freshly made. The fries were crispy and delicious, the Greek salad was so good. Lots of feta cheese and the house dressing was delicious. The gyro was outstanding. The meat was cooked perfectly. The tzatziki sauce was thick and rich and so flavorful. Finally the baklava, we were so full it was hard to finish but it was spot on. Flaky and sweet, so delicious. We arrived just about an hour before the dining room closed, but we weren’t rushed out. The owner talked to us before we left and was very personable. We complimented his restaurant and he mentioned that his father had given him the restaurant and that he instilled in his son to “chase the customers, not the money”. This is what is missing in most establishments these days. Keep doing what you are doing sir. It is working and I hope you make stacks of money doing it. 10 out of 10. 5 stars for sure.
