"Very delicious Italian sandwich spot in the West Village. We went around 11:00 AM on a Sunday and there was no line. We ordered the Italian special, which comes with prosciutto, ham, sopressata, mozzarella, red peppers, tomatoes, and lettuce. The sandwich itself was huge easily fed two people and was great value, especially for New York. The ingredients all tasted very fresh and high quality, and the red peppers added great flavor. I was worried the sandwich might be a bit bland, but it wasn't at all. Highly recommend grabbing a sandwich and taking it to the Hudson River park trust, which is around a 10 minute walk away, to enjoy, since it is a grab and go spot. Will definitely be back to try their other sandwiches and the fried ravioli!"

Phenomenal place, it's like old Italy in New York City. All sorts of great products — meats, pasta, imported delicacies and cheeses.

The sandwiches are crafted just like you would make at home if you had access to fresh ingredients and quality meats. They’re quite large and priced at $20, but it’s the most affordable meal in NYC considering you’ll have leftovers! Visualizza piatti

My wife and I shared an Italian Special hoagie during our last trip to Faicco’s. The hoagie is absolutely loaded with high quality meats and fresh mozzarella. The sandwich can easily be shared by two adults. If you’re looking for a great hoagie in NYC, you will not be disappointed with Faicco’s.

I had the Special Italian Hero. It is truly the world's greatest sandwich. The peppers, meats, greens, dressing were the perfect balance so it was like eating a circus. Every bite was a new act with layer upon layer of flavor. There are dozens of things to try there and I am so excited to begin my journey.

We stopped in to pick up lunch to take the Washington square park We tried the arancini balls. They were very good. What a great buy at a dollar a piece. We ordered the prosciutto sandwich to split. We were dumbfounded as we watched the amount of shaved prosciutto that they put in a huge amount. It's the largest sandwich we've had. Definitely for sharing. We were stuffed. Visualizza piatti

These sandwiches seem to be designed for either construction workers or giants—maybe a bit of both! They're enormous and absolutely delicious. I tried the Italian specialty with hot peppers, and the flavors blended beautifully, especially with the combination of sweet and spicy peppers. I was impressed that it even tasted great the next day since I could only manage to eat half in one sitting.

We stopped by to grab lunch to take to Washington Square Park. We tried the arancini balls, and they were delicious—a fantastic deal at just a dollar each. We decided to share a prosciutto sandwich, and we were amazed by the generous amount of shaved prosciutto inside. It was the biggest sandwich we've ever had! It was really tasty and definitely meant for sharing. We were completely stuffed afterward.

"We went to Bread N Wine on a early Saturday afternoon for brunch. We were greeted and seated by the servers who were attentive. The food was okay the bread was really soft and fresh. My partner got the French Lentil Soup, Spinach and Tomato Egg Bake andI got the French onion soup, egg omelette with spicy tomato avocado and onions. I wasn 't happy with my omelette because thespicy just meant it was covered in hot sauce within. For beverages, we got chai lattes (we later found out it wasn 't tea basedbut rather coffee) and we had the option of oat milk, almond milk or regular milk. In terms of our overall experience we feltby the end too many things were steering the experience south; the worst was when we were accused of using counterfeit money topay for the tip. There was no special marker used to prove that the money was counterfeit or technology to back up this claim. That experience alone left a bad taste in our mouth as we left embarrassed by that claim, kind of shook from that, we stilladded the tip to our credit card 18%. As we walked out and talked about how weird that was, the owner of the business nextdoor overheard us and asked to see the $20 bill he showed us that our money was real and validated what we knew, that themoney wasn 't counterfeit. When we went back into Bread N Wine to discuss this there was no apology, just well, it felt thatway , shrug. It left a terrible feeling. We would not go back after that, this is not how you treat customers from start tofinish, hence the 2 star review."
