While the food was good, the service was outstanding. Will definitely be back. My wife is vegetarian and all the food we had was fantastic.

Everything was so good. Food was amazing. We had our baby with us and the owner was so kind. One extra star for the hospitality from the owner. Highly recommend this restaurant !

Jose is amazing!! my friends and I came with a big group. the paella is so yummy and the pitchers are a great deal. Jose and his whole team are incredibly kind and made us feel very welcome. can't wait to come back!

I had an amazing experience at Jose Luis restaurant in East Village when I visited for my friend's birthday. The ambiance was perfect, the service was top-notch, and the food was exquisite. The menu offered a wide variety of delicious options, and every dish we ordered was a delight to our taste buds. The staff was attentive and made our celebration even more special. I highly recommend Jose Luis for any occasion; it's a five-star dining experience!

There’s not many words i can use to this place. Really the first that comes to mind is… family. Jose Luis, the owner, is first and foremost a star. His name is in lights as it should be. This man made us feel as if we had known him for years. It was baby Nikki’s birthday.. you know the drill.. and Jose Luis brought out his famous limoncello shots. The food? Spectacular. The rainy night? Covered with Jose Luis’ famous shiny tarp. Made sure we were as dry as the Sahara Desert. And when he was scared a single rain drop? He INSISTED we move our table inside. We had the best night of our lives and baby nikki had an incredible 27th birthday. Jose- you mean the world to us.
