The Fairmount Grille

Very inconsistent! Have patron and martinis on tap? Who does that! I don't drink bottom shelf. Months ago I was able to come get an expresso Martini made from scratch now it's on tap and it's garbage. The food is hit or miss as well. I will not be coming back, I have given Chris's establishment more than enough tries.

Yummy food and great service. We had the buffalo chicken sandwich, chicken quesadilla, burger and wings. The wings were soooo good... Everything was really tasty... And our waiter was Fabulous... I wish I could remember his name... It was late and we had just gotten off of a flight from Miami... He was Dominican... Awesome service...

The restaurant offers good food and quality customer service, with the only downside being one lady. The burger, calamari, and strawberry lemonade were delicious. The only reason for deducting one star was because we had to send back the cutlery and tea due to concerns of something potentially left over from the dishwasher. I went to this restaurant for my birthday to have a few drinks by myself, and then returned the next day with a friend for dinner. The bartender Randall was fantastic and even let me try a new tequila. For dinner, my friend ordered the seafood scampi and said it was amazing. I had the special salmon and risotto, which was almost perfect. I also ordered the 5 cheese mac and cheese with buffalo tenders to go, which I always enjoy getting here. We also tried the steak bomb egg rolls, which I had never had before but have now become my favorite appetizer at this restaurant.

Our first visit; the main reason we went was to get a gift certificate for someone who lives nearby; no where else looked good. Although they were having a system problem on a very busy day (a wedding party, not the day of, today caused everyone to be busy) so they weren't able to give me the certificate, we found a way to pay and it will come in the mail. But most important thing, both of us thoroughly enjoyed the food. My veggie burger fries and death by chocolate cake, and her steak were spot on. My IPA draft beer was good. We'll be back when we're nearby, which isn't that often.

First time here. We started with the Steak Bomb Egg Rolls which were amazing. The texture contrast between the steak and cheese and the perfectly crunchy wrap gave me life! I was ready to just order them like an endless app until I got sick. The alioli that came with them was everything and made the dish come alive. I wish I could have captured my reaction to the first bite. For the entree I got the Buffalo Mac and Cheese which was really good. I have a preference for breaded buffalo chicken tenders to be in the Mac Cheese, but this was grilled chicken and the sauce was buffalo cheese which was a great surprise. A friend, who's been here before, invited me to a non valentine's dinner. The atmosphere was very earthy and cozy, the staff was pleasant. The waitress was nice, knowledgeable. We ordered Shrimp Rangon then Lobster Ravioli. The Rangoon tasted fine but too crispy, almost like it was overlooked during the Frying process. The start of the issues was when the Ravioli came while we were still eating the Rangoon, not our waitress but someone else. I was extremely disappointed with the pricey lunch I ordered from Fairmont an hour ago! I decided to treat myself to the Lobster BLT and Steak Cheese egg rolls. The total came to $38. The Steak and Cheese rolls had very little cheese, were extremely bland, and had tons of gristle. I almost choked on a piece and there was zero flavor, not even salt and pepper. The Lobster BLT cost $28 and had very little lobster, lots of tasteless lettuce that didn't seem fresh, and no flavor at all - not even a hint of lobster. Really loved this place for a while, came a few times and was obsessed with the chicken parmesan (sauce is out of this world good). I did find that depending on the chef, sometimes it was better than others. The last time I went though, I was served raw chicken.... TWICE. The first time I took a good couple of bites before realizing the texture of the chicken was off. Upon further inspection I realized that the cutlet was completely raw inside.
