"This review is for the Thanksgiving Buffet. It was held in a a banquet room with beige walls. It probably would've been nicer had they had it in the restaurant area with windows and a better atmosphere. The banquet room just felt sad. I ordered the dinners per person on Open Table. It was advertised as $20.00 per person which I thought was a great deal! However when we were getting ready to leave they asked if we wanted the check. They explained that it is actually $60 per person and the $20 was just to hold the table. I don't think that I would have signed up if I knew it was $60 per person. It wasn't very clear on the order page that we would be getting charged more later. Nonetheless, the food was very good, nothing to complain about, the buffet food was perfect. The service was very good as well. Everyone was very nice and friendly and Kevin kept our beverages full and was helpful whenever we needed him."

The buffet is far too pricey, and the automatic 20% gratuity for minimal service feels excessive!

I loved the food but didn’t appreciate the 20% gratuity added on at the end. I usually tip good but that was extreme for a buffet style service!

This was a great alternative to cooking. Great variety of options, however, not many sides were kid friendly (that's a parent fault). But overall great experience. Would do it again! View menu

This was their Thanksgiving Day Buffet in one of the ballrooms. Everything I put on my plate was outstanding with the only exception being the cranberries. I would surely book this holiday meal again.

Our Thanksgiving Buffet was outstanding. One of the best we have experienced in the past few years. Great variety in appetizers, salads, entrees and dessert. The stations were well placed for easy access. Everything worked together to earn a 5 star rating.

The cost of the food was somewhat high considering the level of service we received during dinner. Our server appeared to be quite inexperienced and was in the process of training someone. I'm not sure why she was chosen for that role, as it didn’t seem to work out well. However, we had breakfast the next day, and the service was improved. I would give our breakfast experience a 4, while dinner was clearly a low 3. View menu

The atmosphere leaves much to be desired, as the dining area consists of a few tables situated next to the hotel bar. The food was fairly average. I ordered a shrimp salad, which was excellent, but the shrimp was overcooked and became tough and rubbery. My wife chose a noodle dish that also featured the same overcooked shrimp; while the noodles were tasty, the shrimp did not impress. However, we did enjoy a very nice cheese board as an appetizer. I would recommend stopping by for drinks and appetizers, but for your main course, there are definitely better dining options in the area.

Do not go here for thanksgiving. Was really looking forward to some amazing quality thanksgiving staples. Sadly, the food quality was no better than Golden Corral. The turkey was the WORST. So dry. I'm not sure how this restaurant stays in business with food like that. We paid $60 pp for the thanksgiving Buffet. Yes, buffet, yet somehow a $25 gratuity was added on to our check??? Apparently that's for the people who bus the tables but would have been nice to know ahead of time. They sat four of us at a round table big enough for 8 so we couldn't even talk to each other. Did not feel like thanksgiving at all. It felt like we were there for a work luncheon. Would not recommend. Avoid!

"Food quality Service Ambiance Value Menu selection Location/Accessibility Overall experience Date visited: 11/11/2023 During a weekend excursion to the vibrant city of Columbus, I seized the opportunity to indulge my palate in the diverse and rich flavors of Indian cuisine at Aab India Restaurant. Accompanied by my dining companion, KK, our culinary escapade unfolded with the promise of an extraordinary dining experience. Arriving just before noon, we found the exterior of Aab India unassuming, a subtle facade that betrayed little of the culinary marvels concealed within. The challenge of parking, however, proved a minor detour on our quest for gastronomic bliss. Having secured a spot in the Big Lot parking lot down the street, we waited outside, eagerly anticipating the moment when the doors would swing open to reveal the warmth and aromatic allure that awaited us. As the clock struck 12, the portal to this culinary haven opened, and we eagerly sought refuge from the brisk autumn air. A gracious staff member ushered us to a neatly arranged table, allowing my companion to peruse the menu while I immersed myself in the restaurant's ambiance. The interior unfolded with systematic organization—tables optimized for space, a bar counter adorned with a curated collection hinting at a storied history, and at the far end, a buffet counter laden with an enticing array of Indian culinary treasures. The decor, an elegant fusion of warmth and antiquity, transported diners to a bygone era. With its antique-inspired ceiling, floor, and furnishings, Aab India exuded an authenticity that promised an immersive dining experience. The warm color palette and tantalizing aroma further heightened the anticipation, especially as I imagined the ambiance taking on a magical allure as daylight gave way to night. Choosing the all-you-can-eat buffet, we joined a queue that mirrored our eagerness to explore the Indian culinary landscape. Labels adorned each tray, providing glimpses into the myriad dishes that awaited us. My plate became a canvas for a symphony of flavors—a scoop of herbal basmati rice, curry that was a departure from the familiar Chicken Tikka Masala, naan bread, fresh vegetables, and a dessert whose uniqueness intrigued my senses. Returning to our table, the first bites were revelations. The curry, a choreography of spices, danced on my palate, and the naan bread, while exemplary on its own, ascended to sublime heights when dipped in the curry. KK, fully immersed in the experience, relished basmati rice, Chicken Tikka, and an assortment of vegetables with evident delight. In the midst of our culinary reverie, an attentive waitress graced our table, ensuring our glasses remained filled. A managerial or culinary presence, keen on enhancing our experience, paid a gracious visit, adding a personal touch to our culinary journey. Our senses satiated and the ambiance savored, we lingered a while before bidding adieu to the burgeoning crowd. Overwhelmed by the newfound popularity, we settled the bill, generously tipping for the delightful fare and attentive service—a mere $16 per person, a paltry sum for the culinary symphony we had indulged in. Overall, Aab India Restaurant emerges as an unparalleled gem in the culinary scene of Columbus. A haven for those seeking not just a meal but a gastronomic journey, it stands as a testament to the alluring wonders of Indian cuisine. As I departed, the promise echoed—an assurance that whenever Columbus beckons, Aab India will be my chosen sanctuary for an encore of extraordinary flavors and warm hospitality."
