"First time “dining” at the 1750 Taphouse…and last time. Waited 30 minutes for table, hostess sat us and waited another 10 minutes to even be acknowledged by waiter. It was busy, so ok…Tried to view beer list using QR code…oops..link is broken. We asked the waiter for a physical list we could view…oops, they don’t have one. He didn’t know all the beers available. So…a “Taphouse” with no way to let you know what’s on tap. Ordered 2 IPA’s from a local brewery…but he didn’t know which one. Hey…always up to try a local mystery brew! Ordered fried pickle app and sipped a decent beer…things were looking up! Before app arrived, placed entree order. Hamburger, medium please, for the hubby, Caesar salad for me. 10 minutes later …the hostess served the entrees…pretty sure I heard the burger mooing. I told her we were waiting for our app, as the waiter came up behind her with pickles in hand. She offered to hold the entrees in the kitchen ….uhm, no, just serve it all now. Medium burger was rare, Caesar salad was ok. Such a disappointing waste of a Friday night."

Closes way to early and sometimes if you cone at 8pm or later they're only making pizza. Bartender is friendly and drink are good. They need help on the food side of things. I'll be back for drinks.

Our favorite go-to place! Always good food, good service, and good drinks! But the recent menu change removed the best meal. Please bring back/make permanent the North Shore Super Beef Sandwich! Best damn roast beef sandwich in the state.

Outdoor dining was great. Service was mediocre at best. Poutine was very expensive for what we got. Fries, brown gravey, a few cheese curds. Pizza was very good, rueben done well and very tender big chunks of meat. Sweet potato fries were very good.Food: 3/5 View menu

Great place for an after-hike snack. The bartender was very helpful and whipped me up a fun hot coffee drink that hit the spot without making me more tired (late night/early morning). My friend's Boston Cream beer was surprisingly tasty. Our appetizers were fresh and delicious.

The service was excellent and the atmosphere was fun and relaxed. However, the menu could use improvement, particularly with the basics like wings and nachos, which I thought were lacking. The beer cheese, for example, seemed like just melted cheese dumped over chips for nachos. While I generally wouldn't choose this place for dinner, it's perfectly fine for grabbing drinks with friends.

Gave this place a try just days after they redid their menu and it was a wonderful experience. Food took a while to get to the table but that's understandable with a whole new menu to get used to.The selection and variety was aplenty and the prices were ok considering the area. The quality was high and portions large. Service was very attentive and friendly. Looking forward to returning. View menu

I had a wonderful evening at the Taphouse tonight, and I have to credit it all to my server, Katie. She was incredibly personable, friendly, efficient, and well-informed about both the drink and food menus. Although the restaurant was quite busy and our food took longer than anticipated, Katie was always attentive. Our drinks were never empty, and she ensured we were comfortable and satisfied throughout the night. I’ll definitely be returning just to see Katie again!

Also, I noticed that the chowder doesn’t have that thick, hearty consistency that I expect; it’s more like a soup, which is a bit disappointing, especially for a restaurant in New England. On the evening of June 3rd, I took my son, who loves the burgers here. We typically have the same wonderful waitress. We also ordered an ice cream dessert that cost $14, which is meant to serve 2-4 people. However, I can assure you that it serves a maximum of two people. In my opinion, it should be priced around $8-$10 at most. Goodnight!

"What a hidden gem of a restaurant this place is! The restaurant is tucked on the side of the parking lot and isn't really visible from the road. When you first in, there is a small bar area on the right. We didn't venture in there but saw it as we waited in the entry way. The restaurant was decorated for Christmas and had a sophisticated feel to it. We didn't have a reservation but we were seated within minutes of arriving. I wish I would've taken more photos of the inside because it was so pretty and classy! Very intimate table seatings and the interior gives upscale, date night vibes. Service: I would give the service a 5/5! Upon being seated, we were instantly greeted and asked for our drink orders. There were always someone walking around checking in on us, refilling our waters, asking how everything was. They were all very attentive. Drinks: I ordered the lecheetini and my husband ordered a White Russian. The lecheetini was so good! Perfect balance of sweet and a little sour. You can taste the lychee in it so if that's something that you don't favor, this drink isn't for you. My husband said that the White Russian was good and made well/strong. Food: If I could give a rating above 5 stars, I would!! All of the food that we ordered was amazing. For appetizers, we got the Thai beef jerky and miso soup. The Thai beef jerky was phenomenal. It was made with flavorful beef that was tender and so tasty. I could've eaten a full meal off of just those. So delicious! The miso soup was also good but was on par with any other miso soup. For entrees, we ordered the duck tamarind and pad see ew with shrimp. Let's just say that we cleaned our plates and there was no leftovers! The duck tamarind was delectable. The duck was tender and perfectly cooked, the sauce was amazing and complimented the duck. It did come with a side of rice, but honestly you didn't need it. The pad see ew with shrimp was also amazing. Probably the best pad see ew I have ever had. The shrimp were perfectly cooked and seared, the sauce on the noodles was sooo good and sweet, everything about the meal was amazing. My only regret is that I wish we had room for dessert! I HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend coming to this restaurant if you're looking for delicious Thai food! We will definitely be returning."
