"My wife and I invited friends to lunch at 1843. It was convenient and it is a nice restaurant, that we thought they might enjoy. It had been over a year since we had dined there. Chicken Tequila Pasta (Today 's Special), Smoked Cheddar Burger, RWB Salad, and Blacken Salmon, was our order. I said that I would try a burger on the next visit. It didn 't happen, instead, I had the Blackened Salmon. It was a large fresh fillet of Norwegian salmon with house spice rub, flawlessly grilled to a crusty finish. A honey siracha drizzle decorated the plate and glazed the salmon filet. The tangy, sweet and spiciness complemented the mild flavored salmon and the pepper corns in the rub. The garlic mash potatoes were perfect. A pleasing trace of garlic could be tasted, but it was not overpowering. The asparagus was fresh, tender and steamed leaving a little snap in each bite. An excellent meal. All meals were enjoyed. The plates were empty when we departed. The receipt said Abigail was our server. Good job, Thank You! I was going to tell the chef what a great job he did on the mashed potatoes, but I was afraid he would figure out that I was the guy that was bitchin ' about 'em and the gravy in my first review. If he reads this, he got the message. We will try not to let so much time pass, before our next visit."

Great small town restaurant hidden infinite street Coweta. Supporting the name of the year the town was founded this little gem has great food at a good price! Will be back highly recommend.

Just ok. Probably won’t go back. The service was really just terrible. Very inattentive. Had to get up and get my own water at one point.The food was all undercooked and under seasoned. Total bummer. View menu

We had the Hawg and Smoked cheddar burgers. Both were fantastic, but the Hawg was to die for!! Service was excellent. Prices are very reasonable. LOVE the atmosphere. The bathroom decor made me chuckle ?. 1000

We really loved the experience! Everything about my meal was a favorite! I had the chicken fried steak with jalapeño gravy, also came with potatoes and toast. I don't know what they did to the toast but it was above the ordinary. Can't wait to go back to try their dinner options!

It smelled extremely bad as soon as you walk in the door. The portion size was extremely small. The burger was burnt. The tea was ok until they brought me a refill and it looked like a cup they had poured several leftover drinks into it. The waitress panicked when she saw it but there was no apology. Yummy!!! I started with a small Caesar that was nice and light and tasty. Then tried the buffalo wings that were the best I've ever had and I love wings! I had a margarita to drink that relaxed me lol. And I finished with a strawberry shortcake. So delicious. The vibe is classy and cool. Will definitely come back. Oh and the owner Kevin is exceptionally sweet and accommodating.

We ended up ordering the 1843 Hash to share, and it was served in two separate bowls, each topped with a perfectly poached egg. While the hash was delicious, both servings were swimming in quite a bit of grease. That said, we still finished it all because it was tasty, but it was definitely on the greasy side. I would have loved to see the regular menu to consider an appetizer. Overall, it's a cool spot in downtown Coweta, and as I mentioned, I would love to give it another shot.
