"I'm literally writing this from the parking lot because I was so impressed with the service! I've been here before, so I know the food is good, but today's service was off the charts—10 out of 5! Everyone was incredibly friendly! I want to give a special shoutout to Danny. While I was waiting for my to-go order, he was busy attending to tables. I asked him about the different types of sauces in to-go cups, and he not only made some great suggestions but also prepared a few for me and labeled them so I'd know which to choose when I come back (and I definitely will!). Great service is hard to find these days, and Danny really knocked it out of the park! As for accessibility, the restaurant is very wheelchair-friendly."

"This place has been on my list for awhile. After seeing them featured on Pittsburgh Today Live, we finally made a reservation. We went a few weeks ago on a snowy Friday night. When we got there, we requested to sit in the bar area. It was so cozy with a fireplace going. We started with the homemade bread, which is complimentary and came with a delicious dipping oil. We also had the fired zucchini and the beans and greens. They were both tasty but the greens and beans were out of this world delicious they had a lemony flavor, so different but so good. I had the shrimp scampi. The shrimp were cooked to perfection and the pasta was so good. My husband had the eggplant parm and requested it with rigatoni with the vodka sauce, he said it was incredible. He also ordered the limoncello martini and loved it. My mom was with us and she has the pasta aglio e olio, she said it was some of the best she's ever had. For dessert we shared the bread pudding at the recommendation of our server, it was fantastic. The dessert line up was so good, I have to go back to try more! Our server was wonderful, kind, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu. We really enjoyed it and will definitely be going back! "Great food. Nice atmosphere. The steak hoagie sandwich was one of the best I’ve ever had. My husband and I split it and we still brought some home. Our waitress was great, friendly, and very helpful. She brought us foil to wrap our leftover sandwich.The cashier said she over charged me, so she gave me money back. So they’re very honest people. The owner checked on us. All around great service and we have loved our food there each of the times we have visited from Ohio."

"First time I was ever in this restaurant. Per the owners, this place has been there for 17 years. I went there today with a large party (there was 18 of us). We were seated quickly (we did get there when they opened) and the server (who I understand is the sister of one of the owners) who waited on our party was outstanding. She was organized, friendly and all of our meals were served at the same time and served to the correct person. I was truly amazed at the service. THe food exceptional. There was not one complaint from anyone in our party regarding the food. So very pleased with this establishment. I will be be returning"

"I’ve really enjoyed my visits here. Second visit last evening was just as we remembered it and perhaps even better. The first time we stopped at Ditkas it was a whim as we passed by with zero research. We were all blown away by the experience and the quality and flavor of the steaks that were cooked just the way we each liked. Returning has been on the list for a long time but just never seemed to fit in. Las evening we were in the mood for a great steak and after checking all the reviews and articles the decision was made to give Ditka’s another try. I honestly can’t imagine that the more we’ll know “steak houses” would have made us any more pleased. We arrived around 8 and one of the nice things is you can sit on the dining side with table clothes and all of the bar side which is quite nice but just a touch more relaxed. As we didn’t get so dressed up we choose to sit on the bar side. Place setting, wine glasses and all were still present. We were given water upon sitting down. I really like this somewhat dying tradition. The menu is a good size and well rounded but not a massive one with too many things to really be good at making them all. I ordered a Manhattan and later a Tom Collins both of which were really well done. The only other drink at the table was a lager of some sort that got a definite thumbs up. Salads arrived in chilled plates with a chilled fork just after the warm rolls. The mike salad and the wedge were a toss up really, both were fresh, crisp and all the increments were well proportioned and presented beautifully. Both salads were really really good. A bit later after the table was cleared and new flatware was placed, again seems to be a dying tradition. We appreciated not having to ask for the table to be cleared. Steak and sides arrived and they looked amazing. The chat looked perfect and the smells wafting off them made my mouth water. New York strip for me and aged prime rib for my son. My steak was absolutely perfect medium. I’m not eve. Sure how they got it cooked that even. His prime rib was thick and cut with a fork. I had a bit of that as well and it’s probably the best I’ve ever had. My strip was full of flavor just simply one of the best I’ve had. We wrapped up with a mascarpone cheese cake that was so decadent and delicious it was sad to see it gone. In the end Ditka’s is a home run for us with two visits in and more to come for sure. <br/ <br/ I literally forgot to take pictures because the experience was so nice it distracted me."
