"We ordered catfish assuming that since it is a j restaurant that the catfish would be grilled and j just like the chicken and other food items. I would NEVER order fried catfish from a j place. But that is what they sent me and it was horrible. This place used to be one of the best Jamaican J restaurants around but it is the pits and gone to the dogs now. Save your money all the food wasn't worth the money or time!Absolutely disappointed!! Less than a zero rating."

I had a craving for Jamaican jerk chicken and I had been eager to try 3Ds for some time now.

Delicious! You get a lot of food and it's great! I only wish they'd open a bit earlier. How can you offer lunch but you don't open until 1

I dined at this restaurant about ten years ago and had a great experience. This time, however, it was just okay. It wasn't terrible, even though it only has two stars.

The chicken was tough, the sauce on the rice was thick very salty. Disappointing! I would never recommend this place. The worker was nice though!Parking: Parking was directly in front. View menu

I just ordered an oxtail dinner through Uber Eats, and it did not disappoint! The food is excellent, and the portion sizes are generous, offering great value for your money. I will definitely be ordering again! Food: 5/5

The restaurant certainly requires some updates. The food was just average, and we had higher expectations. The portion sizes were decent, but the dishes lacked flavor. Some items were served cold, which didn’t leave a good impression. Overall, I was not impressed with the meal. Rating: 3/5.

This is the best Jamaican food I've come across in Chicago. The oxtails are exceptional, and every side dish is delicious—whether it's the rice and peas, mac and cheese, yams, or callaloo, everything is fantastic. The beef patties are also great, and the portions are generous. This should definitely be your go-to spot for Jamaican food in Chicago. Food rating: 5/5.

That food was 10/10. From the sides to the drinks. We got dark and white chicken, yams, cabbage, Mac and red beans and rice. I like that they put the sauce on the side as j can be too spicy for mea sometimes. We couldn’t stop eating it. I didn’t want to give my baby any it was so good. The chicken was so moist and tender. Even the white bread wasn’t like other bread lol. I will drive 30 minutes again for this for sure.

"Tempesta is arguably one of the best sandwich shops in the city. They make a lot of their meats in house and use high quality ingredients so you know you’re getting the good stuff. Not only can you get a great sandwich, you can purchase most of their meats to go as well as other small artisanal grocery items. I have tried almost every sandwich they have on the menu but my top two choices would be the #1 The Dante and the #2 Yo! Vincenzo! The Dante is their version of a classic Italian sandwich but a bit on the spicier side. The Yo Vincenzo is a chicken parm and I personally think it’s the best chicken parm sandwich in the city. The chicken is perfectly crispy, and they use just the right amount of sauce where it doesn’t get soggy. Both of these sandwiches come on their fresh baguette which helps set them apart from other sandwich spots in Chicago just because of how good it is. The B Franklin is also a great option, and if you’re starving get the Wagyu Pastrami but be warned it is a very heavy sandwich because of that Wagyu. The last pro tip I’ll add in here is order your sandwich ahead of time if you’re doing takeout. This is a very popular spot and is always busy during the lunch rush so if you wait to order until you arrive you may need to wait for 10-15 minutes. That should speak to how good this place is because it’s in such high demand, so if you’re in Chicago make sure you stop in!"
