"Disappointed in our experience 801 Fish. Beautiful decor, my wife and I were seated in a nice, comfortable booth. Service was very friendly and professional, albeit a little slow. Drinks were good. The wedge salad was uninspiring but at least fresh. Crab cake was tasty, but $22 for a single crab cake? I was interested in the scallops and they had a scallops with mushroom risotto option on the prix fixe menu. While the scallops were cooked perfectly, the risotto was salty and gluey; we do it b … – show"

If I could give this place 10 stars, I would. It was one of the best meals I’ve had in my entire life!

801 Fish is a showcase of the Best of St Louis. We had Sea Bass flown in within 36 hours (great meal btw), one of the best list of whiskies in the city and views were just amazing. Can’t wait to get back there!

Excellent food and service. The pairings the chef puts together are wonderful. We had the crab cake, arugula salad (not on menu), ahi tuna, halibut, creamed spinach, and lobster fried rice. It was all amazing and cooked perfectly. I wish we would have got a pic as it was also plated beautiful.

Very good service. Good food though the complexity over powers the fish. I had the seared scallops. The lobster fried rice is excellent.Wine list very overpriced. Deserts were ok. Since Covid the prices have significantly increased. Paying to valet after spending $250 for dinner for 2 Leaves a bad taste in your mouth. Overall overpriced dinning experience. View menu

Can you expect anything less from a restaurant in downtown Clayton? Came here last September to celebrate my wedding anniversary and to have dinner with my friend who was in town singing with The Rolling Stones. Decor was gorgeous and we had a nice booth with a view outside. I had the Lobster Tail Risotto which was heavenly-just wish portions were bigger. Great meal and staff!

My wife and I ate here 09/17/22. Kianna was our server and she did a a fantastic job. She was friendly, easy to talk to and also answered all the menu questions we had! Appetizer was crab dip, raw oysters and cup of clam chowder. Entree’s were Lobster risotto and Alaskan Halibut. Dessert was the Baked Alaska. Everything was absolutely amazing!! Highly recommend this place for special occasions or just a date night! Great ambiance and visually clean. Very high end and worth every penny!
