The egg rolls are amazing as is the vast majority of the food here. It’s fast and just amazing. Cash only so make sure you hit up an atm first.

Obviously, they have the best egg roll I've ever had. I seriously drive here just to get a few every few months. If I'm ever bringing something to an event, I usually grab these egg rolls. They've gotten pretty pricey, but every once in a while, I'll justify the spend!

Been coming here for years, even taking a long drive, for best S.E.Asian ethnic food and snacks. Great to see war refugee families thrive with hard work along this part of town unadvertised politically in the media. Chicken French sandwiches with pickled veggies are my favorites! View menu

At the last Kensington Talmadge Business Association mixer, the host provided trays of egg rolls and sandwiches from A Chau and it was such a hit! People kept going back for seconds. Lots of vegetarian options, flavorful dips and sauces, just so delicious! Really a great easy takeout option for a party. Can’t wait to visit and try more in person!

The prices have become outrageous. An egg roll now costs $1.35. What used to be a delightful and unique item has turned into nothing more than a cash grab. As consumers, what do we gain from these doubled prices? Is the food now twice as delicious? Do they still make you feel guilty for requesting fish sauce? Goodbye, Achau. I used to love you, but now you're just a memory. Food: 3/5.

1 star for the spicy Jalapeno zero stars for the sandwich. Other than that the chicken Bahn mi was the worst we have ever had. It seem they didn't care and just used old, dry leftover top portion of chicken and no sauce. The chicken was old and dry, very hard to chew. We couldn't even salvage any parts to eat because it was so bad. Into the trash where it belong. Not worth $7 in our opinion. View menu

They are so amazing that even if you return to your car, which you parked illegally due to the lack of parking, only to find a ticket on the windshield (thanks to the patrols caused by all the homeless folks and troublemakers around) and discover a dent on the side of your car (because the parking spaces are ridiculously small), you’ll still leave feeling great. Why? Because you just enjoyed some incredible egg rolls from A Chau. It’s that good.

A lot of different kinds of Vietnamese food conveniently Togo !!!! They sell an assortment of different foods and beverages. I would say tho there banh mi is lacking I would only recommend the BBQ pork because the meat is very good. But sadly there banh mi lack any kind of mayo or pate unless you buy an option which has that. And also make sure to bring cash they don’t accept card. There egg rolls etc other than banh mi very solid. (Not trying to take away customers but right next to them Paris Banh Mi is right around the corner if your Trying to get banh mi)

Apparently many people don’t have a clue as to what an Egg Roll is. I sampled A-Chau’s products and found them to be the worst “Egg Rolls” I have ever had in my life.If you want nothing but “Pork” wrapped in rice paper then you might like these but the taste was not good and no cabbage or egg in the product. I tried both types they offered and ate 1/2 of each type and threw the other six in the trash. I will never shop there again. Friendly people, terrible food.Sad too. Because Szechuan-Mandarin on Mission Gorge Rd. had the best in town but they closed after years of great egg rolls! Now I can’t find a good roll in San Diego. View menu
