"I found this place purely by accident. I went in with low expectations having never heard about it before being new to the area, thinking the name was a bit too similar to Dairy Queen and it is very unassuming looking, but I was blown away. My favorite flavor by far is Graham Central Station, which I’ve only ever had and enjoyed at J. Renee in Avon. I figured I would give their version a try expecting it to be an ‘okay’ substitution, but it was every bit as good if not even better than J. Renee’s. The ice cream base was rich, creamy, and perfectly flavored and the chocolate covered graham cracker pieces were light and crunchy. The hot fudge was thick and rich and the perfect addition. We also got their moose tracks and plain vanilla and both were superb. It is unfortunate that I stopped by three days before they closed for the season because now I have to wait until spring for them to open again! "I will join the many others on here who are saying this place has simply gone downhill! I was a customer for over 5 years and things just are not as good as they once were from the service to the quality of the food. I tried to resolve a mistake on my order (that was completley their fault) with the front staff and not only did they tell me there was no manager I could speak with about the issue, but I had left my name and phone number and did not recieve a call from anyone at all and it has been over a weeks time..To be fair they had offered me a voucher for an equal meal but at this point with the service lately and this not being the first mistake paired with the food quality going down, I am no longer a customer at the restaurant, all I was asking for was my money back on an over priced salad that they had made the mistake on."

"We had a holiday event there for 50 people. They gave us 1 server. When we bookend it they said there was a bar upstairs where the room is. Yes there was a bar but the server would put order in computer than had to go downstairs to get the drinks. Took much too long . She worked her butt off and she was nice . We prepaid for food . They did not have enough plates for apps or dinner. We had to keep asking for more. There was no one to clean up our plates or empty glasses most of the night. When we spoke to the staff and manager they were extremely rude almost as if they were ignorin we had to say . He didn't even make eye contact. He said a girl would be up there and one girl came and cleaned a fiew dishes and that was it for the night . No one knew how to turn the lights on in our room when it got dark out . The room right outside ours had a large group before and the table was never cleaned till much later it the night. We had to walk by it all night . We also ended up going to the bar downstairs to get our drinks but that was not what we were told when book. Also was told we would have 2 servers. It's funny I was there is August food was good, service was horrible. We will not be going back there ever again . Not what is use to be and no customer service."

"I was pleasantly surprised to discover a fantastic sushi restaurant only 5 minutes from Bradley Airport in Hartford. The service was excellent and the food was delicious. The atmosphere was comfortable and the service was quick. I highly recommend it!"

"I enjoyed the fried mozzarella with marinara, which was tasty. The chicken quesadilla, served as is, was also delightful—not too spicy, with a flaky texture that was well-cooked rather than floppy. The primavera featured a variety of fresh vegetables that maintained their crispiness, and the light cream sauce complemented the dish beautifully. The 12oz Portuguese-style steak came with mixed veggies and roasted potatoes, all cooked to perfection. The steak was tender and juicy, topped with a perfectly fried egg. The sauce accompanying the dish was rich in flavor—absolutely divine—and I added sautéed mushrooms, which made the entire dish even more enjoyable. Every bite was a treat, and it felt worth every penny. The rolls served at the beginning were hot, tasty, and light—not at all burnt or hard like a stone. The side salad was generously portioned with fresh vegetables, including sweet carrots, enhancing the meal further. Each dish offers generous servings, and I look forward to returning to explore more of the extensive menu. As for parking, the lot in front of the restaurant spans down to the other businesses, providing ample space."
