"Place was very good. I felt like eating breakfast at 7 p.m., and this place filled the desire perfectly. Food tasted good and was worth my money. It is also not far from my house and the server was very friendly. The reason I left a 4 star because I have been in places where the potatoes and eggs feel fresher and more tasty than homemade cooking (Cricket's Country Kitchen in Sacramento), while here it was only good and the bread had much butter (I would ask for bread with butter on the side next time). If you do not want that far from Elk Grove and want something that is not close to 2pm, but this place is perfect. But I have to say that the bacon was the best cooked bacon I've ever had."

The Wedge Salad was refreshing and beautifully presented, while the Deviled Eggs made for a delightful appetizer. The service was equally impressive, with attentive and friendly staff who made sure every need was met. The atmosphere was inviting and charming, contributing to a wonderful dining experience. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a fantastic dinner."

"What a wonderful hidden gem! The food was exceptional, and the family who owns and runs the restaurant were incredibly welcoming, creating a cozy atmosphere that felt more like home than a dining establishment. Our host entertained us with jokes and traditional Italian songs, which added to the overall charm of the experience. The only downside is that I don’t live here, so I can’t come back more often. I will definitely be comparing all Italian restaurants to this fantastic standard for quite some time!"

"I recently dined at Journey to the Dumpling with my family, and while there were some high points, the experience fell a bit short of our expectations. The dumplings were fresh, with a good variety of options, but the flavors felt less authentic than we were hoping for. Overall, we left feeling a little unsatisfied. We ordered the Peking Spare Ribs, which were crispy and served in large pieces—almost too big—and unfortunately lacked the tangy punch we expected. The Eggplant with Fish had an overpowering vinegar flavor that overwhelmed the dish, making it hard to enjoy. The XLB (Pork Soup Dumplings) had a slightly thicker skin and not much soup inside, but on the positive side, they didn’t stick together or tear when picked up. The Char Siu Baos had a nice, fluffy top, but the flavor was missing the sweetness balance that usually makes this dish a favorite. Our server, Henry, was nice and attentive, which was a bright spot in the experience. The ambiance was pleasant, but the wait times for both seating and food were longer than anticipated. While there were some decent moments, the overall lack of authenticity in the flavors left us feeling it wasn’t quite worth the trip."

"I really like Made in India at 8649 Elk Grove Blvd, Elk Grove, CA 95624. I have eaten here several times and have not had a disappointing experience. Sometimes I order from the large menu or take the buffet.Today I opted for the buffet, which had a great selection of Indian food and Asian food, which I really liked. Everything I tried was perfectly cooked and most of the food was very mild. The selection of the desserts gave me several choices, but I went for my favorite, rice pudding. You can't beat the hot Chai Tea, which is included with the meal.The ambience was very nice and gave a great dining experience for one person or a family.Even though I chose the buffet, there was a server available who brought me fresh garlic naan, a beverage and anything else I needed. The gentleman was very polite and attentive. He even answered questions about the food.Every time I come here there are always customers. At night, it can be very crowded.The prices are reasonable and they try really hard to give the best dining experience.If you like Indian/Asian food, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this restaurant!"
