Best Lamb with Bone dinner in town. Halal and courteous owner gives us meat sauce that goes with rice each time we go. The meat is really tender and the food is fresh made to order.

The food at this restaurant is absolutely delicious, and the owners are consistently friendly. Every time I sample a new dish, I'm reminded of the authentic flavors that transport me back home. The prices are also quite reasonable. Be sure to try the candy—it's lightly sweet and truly delightful!

Amazing!! Visiting from Salt Lake City on a business trip. We wanted something unique and of the beaten path. I can tell you that this is way off the path, this is hole in the wall traditional fare! Zero frills place that doesn’t have a sign out front and one menu on the wall with only 4 items available. The son took our order on a napkin! ???? His momma made the food and he delivered it. All that to say HOLY COW THE FOOD WAS DELICIOUS! Both sonand mom are super sweet and a joy to talk to. Mom has been cooking for over 40 years! If you want authentic Somalian food withhuge portions for a very inexpensive price, this is the place. I will be going back for their food again. Don’t let theno-frill atmosphere keep you away.

This is a straightforward place that doesn’t even have a sign outside, and there’s just one menu on the wall with only four items. The son took our order on a napkin! His mother prepared the food, and he served it to us. That being said, the food was absolutely DELICIOUS! Both the son and the mother are incredibly friendly and enjoyable to talk to. Mom has been cooking for over 40 years! If you're looking for authentic Somali cuisine with generous portions at a great price, this is the place to visit. I definitely plan to come back for more of their offerings. Don’t let the simple atmosphere put you off!

The lamb (Hilib Ari) was very flavorful and the texture was great, which matched wonderfully with the aromatic rice (not your typical dry fare). The Chicken Suqaar was in small pieces, with a lovely bright spice that combined well with the rice and salad (lettuce, onion, lemon). The big winner was the spiced coffee load it up with sugar and you got yourself a wonderful cuppa energy! The tea my sister got was also delicious (though pipping hot and already sweetened). The lovely woman who has many decades of experience cooking is also very welcoming she came out to check on us and we got a chance to learn more of the rich story. I was just passing through when I saw the positive reviews and decided to try this restaurant. When I walked in, I was surprised to find the place completely empty – it seemed like no one had been there all day. I asked about several items on the menu, but they were out of stock, which I found strange. However, after an eight-hour drive, I was hungry and didn’t want to search for another restaurant. I ordered beef with rice but ended up with beef kebab instead, which was disappointing. Although the rice was freshly made, everything else tasted reheated. It seems like no customers come during the summer, so they didn’t bother preparing fresh food for occasional visitors like us.

I decided to try something new and came across this restaurant! When I called to place my order, I wasn't aware that they had updated their menu. Fortunately, the owner quickly sent me the new menu and called back to help me with my order. I must say, the food is incredible! We ordered lamb with bread, lamb with rice, Sambusas, and Baklava. The lamb was tender, the bread was fresh and homemade, and the rice was perfectly spicy and well-seasoned. The Sambusas were fantastic, with a fluffy crust and delicious filling.
