Afrika Fusion - Menu

ordered a few nights after I wanted to try it for months and boyyyyyyy I was disappointed. it was literally as if eating was spoiled. two bites and I had to throw it away. I had really high hopes.

So I came to celebrate my friend's birthday and it was the best decision we could've made. It was affordable and the service was impeccable, it wasn't too busy and the music was making the food taste even better. We'll definitely be back again!

Exactly what I expected. The food was really great. It is African fusion so a mix of eastern and western flavors. The staff is friendly, the food is cooked to order and definitely gives you the flavors of food cooked in Africa over a fire. I don't eat fufu but I was told it was amazing. Tried the buffet with friends and the meat was TOUGH!!! I can't express that enough. Make sure you have strong jaws. Service wasn't great...I had to get up myself to ask for my water to be refilled. The restaurant just opened for the day, so it wasn't busy. Wasn't the best 1st experience for trying African food. I'll try another place

As for the fufu, I think I liked it! It was my first time trying it, so I don't have much to compare it to. It had a nice texture—not too mushy or slimy. And be sure to get the plantains! Honestly, I almost skipped ordering because of some of the reviews, but I'm so glad I decided to go for it because everything turned out wonderfully!

(This is my second review of this restaurant). I was in the mood for African cuisine one evening, so I decided to bring a friend along. I really enjoy this place because it has a complete bar. I ordered the goat platter with jollof rice and fufu, while my friend chose a whole tilapia with plantains and pilau rice. I do wish my dish had a bit more spice, but it definitely satisfied my cravings. I can't wait to return for more! View menu

I visited this place because it was recommended by a friend but being my first time there, I was a little intimidated. My husband and I love to try new places, new flavors, and new cuisines but rate our overall experience on presentation, taste, ambience, but most importantly service. I can gladly say our experience was excellent! Wendy, our bartender, is a gem to Afrikan Fusion! She guided us through the entire menu, answered all of our questions, and her suggestions were on point. We will be back and I will recommend this place to my friends and family. Thank you Wendy for your professional service and your patience with newbies like us. We will be back because of you!

*this review is based on take-out I received for Uber eats I ordered the okra stew with fufu and the oxtails. Both dishes were very tasty and the stews complimented the fufu. The okra stew came with puréed okra with beef knuckle. Be prepared to make a mess when eating this because the okra is stringy and a bit on the oily side. The fufu was a bit too crumbly and feel apart easily when trying to scope up food. I wasn't a fan of the texture of the beef knuckle but that's just a personal preference. The oxtail was excellent. Why isn 't this place full for Sunday Buffett??? This trip to Fusion happened because a fried posted pics of Matumbo last weekend; and I had a hankering deep inside my soul for some authentic Kenyan food. Today after church we had some work to do and despite our kids whining for McDonalds we stood firm and made a beeline to Tollway and Frankford. OMG!!! I didn 't get a pic of the buffet; shame on me; but I immediately ate with my eyes!!!
