"I wanted to give this place a shot today, first time trying them out. I 'm not sure if this was a one off bad experience or what happened, but I 'm extremely disappointed. I ordered the half pound of fried scallops to go, and I understand that with the ten minute commute back home, they won 't be fresh and crispy any longer...but when I tell you I popped open their container and there was a huge puddle of liquid at the bottom, I 'm not exaggerating. This picture is after I air fried them for a bit, patted them dry and then fried again, but there was really no saving it. Maybe different packaging might help, or breading. Not sure what the solution is but honestly for the price, they should not have been so slimy. On the bright side the slaw was quite good."

"Jess 'n Nic's Pizzeria Pub is undoubtedly the best place to eat in the Gray/Windham area! The service is excellent, the staff is friendly, and the food is simply amazing! I really wish you were open 24/7 because I often find myself wondering where to go on Mondays when you're closed, haha. Their menu is definitely worth exploring!"

"You’re likely to encounter two kinds of reviews about this restaurant: local Mainers who may not be familiar with authentic Chinese cuisine, and who rave that it’s the best they’ve ever had, and city dwellers who know their Chinese food and criticize it as terrible. Both sides would be incorrect. Is it the best Chinese food in the world? Living in Los Angeles, I can say it’s not. However, is it the best Chinese food in this part of Maine? I would say yes. I found it to be quite decent, even by Los Angeles standards. It’s definitely a good option for this area and if you set aside your big city expectations, you’re likely to enjoy it just as we did. We will definitely be returning."

"I ordered the yellow curry at level 1 on the spice scale, and it was delicious with just the right amount of flavor—not too spicy at all. The Pad Thai was also very tasty. We tried the sampler for two, which provided a great variety of delicious dishes. I placed my order and paid online, then picked it up, making it super convenient. The restaurant looked very clean and well-maintained. If we stay in Gray again, I will definitely order from here!"

"Cole Farms Restaurant and Pub has been around since the 1950s, but this past weekend was my first time dining there. The food was decent and enjoyable. You can choose to eat in the restaurant or the bar, depending on your mood and whether a game is on. I ordered the Barburger with fries. Although I requested it medium, it was served less cooked than I'd hoped. However, I didn't send it back because the flavor was outstanding, and the bacon was cooked to my liking. The fries were standard frozen ones, not exceptional, but they suited the meal well. My wife tried the open-faced chicken sandwich, a dish she has loved since visiting in the 1990s. While the sandwich was made with white meat, she wasn't disappointed by the dark meat option, which was a concern for her since she typically prefers dark meat. She also ordered the French fries, which quickly disappeared from her plate, suggesting she enjoyed them. Although there was a bit of a wait for a table, the staff was polite, and we left feeling satisfied and happy."
