"I remember going to this place when I was a kid. I now live in California and this was on my list of places to eat when in town. It's still the place to for the best tamales in town and excellent service! The ladies at the counter are very sweet. I picked up in the morning and the fresh and hot. Also, I picked up asado and hot homemade tortillas! (Better than the place on 8th in the old Taco Villa building. ."

Today 3-18-2023 purchased 2 dozen tamales from this place. Once home opened package found 1 dozen eaten what appears to be a rat or rodent had eaten some. See pic. Don’t go here!!

This out of the way restaurant was great. The tamales were very good, best I've had in sometime. The barbacoa burrito was good, but the homemade tortillas gave this place the 5*. Your ever in O town give this place a try. View menu

Fast, friendly service! I got the combination burritos. The tortilla was really good, tasted homemade. The meat, beans and potatoes were cooked well. They only thing is I thought they used too much pepper in seasoning the meat.

I went to get four dozen tamales for the holidays and was shocked to discover that there were oats in the masa! They were terrible! We had always relied on Saucedo's, but it looks like we'll be looking for a different place for New Year's Eve. Very dissatisfied and disappointed!
