"so i’m walking by after yesterday’s houston marathon and in desperate need of a coffee.....I wander In and am greeted by a smile. tick. then another smile from another staff member and some nice simple friendly service. this place has a great space, good light and generally relaxed vibe with a scattering of couches and chairs....and the place isn’t overrun with the laptop crowd. people sitting, around talking and enjoying a lovely sunday morning. now to the important part, the coffee. my coffee experiences in america haven’t been great for the most part. (for the record starbucks and dunkin donuts is not coffee. It’s something, but it’s definitely not coffee as most of the world knows it). this could well be the best cup of coffee I have ever had in the US. this place does coffee extremely well. great crema, perfectly heated and frothed milk. five stars. outstanding."

Great little find really close to GRB. Had awesome espresso macchiatos and they had some yummy breakfast tacos and delicious pastries too. Lucky us. Excellent coffee here. View menu

Not overpriced coffee and it's good! What more can you ask for... oh, they actually make the correct sizes of coffee! I love the environment; quite place to work, comfortable chairs if you want to relax. Staff extremely nice and helpful. Plus they have parking. Ahh, Coffee has figured it out.

This coffee shop is one of my favorites! The staff is fantastic, and the coffee is excellent. I absolutely love this place! I usually stick to a classic cup of coffee, and their daily roast features a premium Brazilian blend that’s amazing. The team here is genuinely passionate and skilled at what they do.

The owner, John, always greets you with a big smile. Everything on the menu looks and smells amazing, and the Bourbon Barrel-aged coffee beans are a major attraction for many customers! It's the perfect spot to enjoy a cold beer while waiting for my marathon runner. Yes, it's a coffee shop that also serves beer! What more could you ask for? View menu

Without a doubt, this is the best soy latte I've ever had. The atmosphere is much more relaxed compared to the typical coffee shops, with plenty of spaces for friends to meet or study. The staff is incredibly friendly, too. It's been a long time since I've been eager to spend money on coffee every morning, but I find myself craving this one every day.

Had a Jeep Meet Up here on Saturday morning...pretty sure this was the most amazing coffee I've had in a long time. I live way outside of the loop, but I will return. Next time maybe I'll have one of the delicious looking pastries that a gentleman was delivering while we sat outside enjoying our coffee. The young lady behind the counter was knowledgeable and super excited about coffee!!!!

"Food good. Location good. Service good. BUT, the hidden charges REALLY ruined an otherwise nice experience. Example: HH menu lists Martinis as a $3 upcharge to the $7 base charge. Fair enough. Bombay is a listed alcohol; requested. When the bill was returned I was charged for a Bombay Sapphire which is not on the HH list. Charge? $11 $3. I asked for Bombay, not Bombay Sapphire. Waiter: Oh, let me look into that. AND, by the way Blue Cheese olives? Extra $1. REALLY? I 've NEVER paid extra for BC olives ANYWHERE. AND the confusing menus that a dish as including an extra sauce, [and I don 't recall the exact language but it made it seem that an additional items could be selected as well. Oops, there goes an extra $10.95. AND, the waiter recommending a twice-baked potato. Bah, boom, another $5.95. [which in fairness is disclosed on the menu in a different location, but waiter made it sound as if it was a no-charge option on the surf and turf. AND the split plate charge which I don 't think was disclosed on the menu. Ding, ding, extra $3.00. Was this a waiter, who was overly up-selling or restaurant deception? Don 't know. As I said, the food WAS good. AND, the ambience [at least in the bar area, stay away of the hotel-ballroom-like main dining area was nice. Just beware the nickel and dime charges that the waiter won 't be disclosing to you."
