"Warning! Make sure to check your takeout orders before leaving! I visited this restaurant for the first time while I was in town packing up my late father-in-law's house. After his sudden passing, I ordered food to go, but they forgot parts of my order. When I returned to pick up the missing items, they shorted us on flour tortillas for the fajitas. It’s not like we could just refuse the fajitas since they can’t be enjoyed without the tortillas! To make matters worse, the staff was rude and disrespectful. They didn’t apologize or take any steps to rectify the situation. Their level of professionalism was very disappointing, and we felt ignored and disrespected. I understand that my order was on the smaller side, but it wasn’t cheap—I spent $89 on two meals and an appetizer, and the treatment we received was unacceptable, showing a lack of care or compassion."

"Was in the area for the night, stayed at Village Kitchen for breakfast on the way back home. Large selection on the menu, several different types of Moimosa 's, small group of things for sale inside, home vibe feel to the restaurant interior, great prices! If the restaurant came to a welcome, sit down, I'll find you from the smiling server. Right after he sat the cook, he hit his head around the corner and said hello. Wasn't all that worked first, but the server was with the tables she had. Come to find out they were shorthanded. When I watched her hectic from table to table, order to register kitchen, she never stopped smiling or recognized the one she passed. A cook, a server and they got things like the flow of more customers slowly came. Not a customer seemed to consider the waiting time until they reached their table. Watch a few regular steps in and borrow a hand cleaning tables from customers before. Kudos. Huge cried this morning on the server Sarah (March 6), she did a fantastic task to keep her together and helped her customers while shorthanded!!! Thanks Ray (I think was his name), the cook, for a great breakfast!! Love little towns."

"I recently visited this restaurant for lunch and thoroughly enjoyed my experience. The food was quite impressive, earning a solid score of 4 out of 5, with the standout dish being the refreshing Huckleberry Milkshake, which I highly recommend. The service was attentive and friendly, also receiving a 4 out of 5 rating. The atmosphere was inviting and pleasant, making it an ideal spot for a midday meal. Overall, I would definitely recommend this restaurant for a satisfying lunch at a reasonable price."

"I've visited this restaurant twice now and tried the brisket sandwich, pulled pork, tri-tip, mac and cheese, baked beans, and the dirty fries. Everything was incredible! The flavors were fantastic, and the portion sizes are huge—so much food! The staff was very friendly and accommodating. It's refreshing to have this kind of food available in town. I will definitely return for more!"

"I visited the restaurant with my family to celebrate a birthday and ordered a burger. After I paid, I left while my family stayed behind. Soon after, a server approached my twin sister, accusing me of not having paid. Although she claimed to have seen me pay (which I did), both the manager and the server insisted that I had not paid and said my family would need to cover the bill before they could leave. Eventually, my mom paid for the meal, but I later checked my bank statement and confirmed that I had indeed paid. The restaurant then asked for proof before sending my mom a check to refund their second charge. This whole situation was outrageous! I ended up paying twice for a burger and was wrongly accused of dining and dashing. It was an absolutely horrible experience."
