Akai Hana Sushi Grill

yummy, one of the most extensive sushi menus I've seen. do not go when they are in a hurry, there is a cook who works there, sometimes, who is very methodical and can be a bit slow. but I never had a bad meal. Ask for cheyenne to serve you, she is a shady and makes a great job!

A little pricey for it being a small place and kind of cluttered but the food did not dissapoint! My bf had spicy miso ramen and it was lacking miso flavor but the spice was there. I got the Tonkatsu ramen and the noodles were too al dente for my liking I would have preferred more cooked but it was overall good still.

my buddy worked here and loved it! I've been eating here for years. that's my way to the sushi spot. the personal was always very friendly, in time and know the menu well. there are so many rolls to choose and they even have less common items like frog (super good! if you get that. they have even kept their prices low realtivley, even with inflation. It was ok. They were pretty busy with dine in and take out. My food was just shy of 30 min late. Being overwhelmed, one of the employees was kinda rude at times, and I even saw a couple of guys walk out because of that. Food was somewhere between ok and good. It reminded me of Japan, but with a Chinese American twist. Not the best but it was good. The inside is kinda cozy and not to well done. Overall it?s pretty average. It stays busy, so maybe it?s for some people

my wife and I tried this place for the first time on a Friday night at 20 o'clock! they were somewhat understated and we waited for the host table until we were recognized. after that the experience was great! we sat in the sushi bar and the sushi cook was very nice and picked our commands. the place was super small, so I can't imagine if it was busy. felt very like a hole in the wall, good atmosphere and perfect for our date night. sushi was great and the prizes were also good. we will be definitiw back!

my man and I were here for our 9-year-old wedding party. we went to lunch and it was so amazing experience. the owners are the sweetest couple and the food was delicious. The best sushi we've been here for two years. my man went after japan a few years ago and he even said that her sushi is almost as good as the fresh sushi he had in japan. But when the owner of my man passed on to japanese, my man completely forgot how to speak Japanese and was so embarrassingly lol. I went here last Sunday on a date me and my lady were seated and giving menu’s. We were never asked if we would like water or any kind of drinks whatsoever. We fill out our sushi order on the menu, there is a couple seated next to us. 20 minutes go by no server, no drinks of any kind. Now at 30+ minutes the couple next to us receives drinks and their food order is taken.So we get up and leave and all on the way out the hostess, and the sushi chef thanks us for coming. Lmaooo thanks for what exactly. I’ve never been so embarrassed that I actually took someone to eat here. We both felt highly discriminated against and disrespected.

This is easily the best Japanese/Sushi restaurant I have ever been to! I've been to at least more than 10 Japanese and Sushi restaurants in the valley and this tops all of them. I have been here at least more than 30 times and I cannot say I have had a bad experience. The food is fantastic and I always find something new to get every time. I have attached some photos of some of the best things I've had on the menu. The service here is excellent, I've had the same few waitresses each time and all of them are very nice and polite. They have been able to tolerate me and whoever I'm with while we sit around for 30 minutes talking about what we are going to order. They are very attentive and come...

I 've been wanting to try this place out since we moved out west last year. The menu selection looked promising and the overall good reviews. Convinced my husband to go with me on his only day off (working extra due to staff shortage, you know... First impression: We walked in and the place smelled like old grease and stale.
