"I've been visiting this restaurant every summer for years, and I've always found that they serve the best bagels in town. As a tough critic when it comes to bagels—having grown up Jewish in Philadelphia and frequently visiting New York and Miami for Sunday bagels and lox—I've come to expect a high standard. However, in the last couple of days, both the bagels and the service have been disappointing. Today, the bagels tasted like they'd come straight from the freezer and were microwaved—completely rubbery. I ordered four, and though they were toasted, they didn’t hit the mark. They were also out of scallion cream cheese, which is a shame since it wouldn't have taken much effort to swing by Shop Rite and get some scallions. Yesterday's experience was equally unsatisfactory."

A few days ago, I indulged in a wake and bake while staying at a sketchy motel nearby, and I decided to stop by this place for a bite. I got two bagels with cream cheese, and it was pretty clear to the cashier that I was a bit high.

I enjoyed some satisfying comfort food after a weekend trip to Atlantic City. This place offers the best bagels I've found in the area. The wait time can be a bit lengthy, but it's always worth it. Plus, there's ample parking available! View menu

This place used to be great, but ever since the new management took over, it has been declining. They've messed up my order more than twice, and the food no longer has the same flavor. I was also charged for something I didn't receive. I won't be going back.

The restaurant offers an excellent variety of dishes and the food is outstanding! The young woman at the counter managed the busy restaurant all on her own, yet she remained incredibly friendly and polite, serving everyone in a timely manner. Keep up the fantastic work!

I had a delightful breakfast on Saturday. My meal was fresh, and everything was served hot. We chose to sit inside for a quick bite before heading out for a hike, and I'm really glad we did because it kept us fueled for our adventure. I didn’t take any pictures, though. Food: 5/5. View menu

The place is ok, service not real friendly. They have a standard selection of bagels. The good news is that they bake onsite so you can get them fresh and hot. Decent sandwiches on your choice of bread if you don't want a bagel. Roast beef is rare. Whitefish salad is particularly good. Breakfast menu is extensive: eggs, home fries, good choice of omelettes (though they spell it wrong on the menu, see photo below), even French toast and chocolate pancakes. If you're on a

I called to place a pickup order, but the staff hung up on me right after I said hello. When I redialed, the person who answered was incredibly rude, questioning why I bothered calling and then hung up again. I tried calling several more times, but no one picked up. It's unfortunate because we used to order from here weekly, but after this experience, we will not be returning. There was one occasion when my boyfriend went to pick up our food, and the same woman who prepared our meal also handled cash without changing her gloves. We still chose to come back, but after today's rudeness, we are definitely done.

"I wouldn’t say this if I weren’t highly confident of it, as I realize the effect it can have on an establishment’s reputation, but I got the sushi sashimi platter for two, in addition to four different orders of ramen, and within minutes of eating the second piece of sushi (tuna) I contacted scombroid poisoning. I have had very minor reactions in the past to fish past its prime, a bit of soreness on my tongue and such, but in a lifetime of eating tons of sushi and fish, I’ve had it only a few times, only when eating salmon and never when eating sushi, and never nearly this bad. My tongue swelled up to where I couldn’t speak properly, and I felt some welts swelling up further back in my throat. Thank God the hotel I had gone back to had Benadryl for sale in the lobby. If I had been dining in at the place, I’d have been leaving in an ambulance. At the studio within 20 min of purchasing it, so spoilage on my end was not a factor. I was sore enough at having spent $55 for what was immediately obvious was not well prepared or high quality sushi, and pretty intent on getting a refund, but it’s more important to me that other folks visiting the area know and avoid the same situation, as someone more sensitive to histamine could be killed. Every piece of fish I inspected was in poor shape, I would have gone with grocery store sushi over the very appearance of this stuff, and I should have trusted my gut the moment I popped the lid and laid eyes on it. Sushi is expensive to buy because it assumes the vendor to be diligent about obtaining fresh and high quality ingredients, but if the vendor does not hold up their end of the bargain, customers can be put in serious peril. If a restaurant can’t do their part in the sushi bargain, they should stay out of the sushi game. I will be reporting the same to the New Jersey Dept of Health and CDC. And if I’m being honest, the tonkatsu ramen was phenomenal, so it really was a damn shame."
