I'm usually not a picky eater, but the eggplant rollatini was inedible; I ended up having to throw it away. The sauce was both watery and greasy, and the cheese had a spoiled flavor. My husband ordered a cheesesteak sandwich, and I specifically mentioned twice over the phone that we didn't want mushrooms. However, when we got home, the sandwich was loaded with them."

Amazing! Whenever we have the chance to visit New York, this is our first destination! Living in the South, we don’t have pizza like New York pizza—it’s similar, but nothing compares. I highly recommend this restaurant! Until next time!

Its all in the sauce when it comes to pizza for our family, and this pizzeria does it right. I don't know if the pope himself blesses every batch of sauce, but their pizza is probably the best I've ever had in my life. And I've tried pizza everywhere, the city, other states and all over NY. Amendola's is really number (1).
