"We found Amour Wine Bistro on Open Table arena were delighted with our visit. The food was delicious, the service great and the ambience was fantastic! It was as though we had stumbled upon a little Bistro in Paris. I would highly recommend it. We shared the foie gras. It was so tasty. My lamb chops were perfectly done and the potatoes were too. The ratatouille was fantastic. My husband had the duck breast, which was yummy. All in all a great dining experience."

Have always loved the food and the service. I feel it is a great overlooked restaurant in Richmond. Love the wine pairings.

The owner was very accommodating. He showed me the easy way to extract a snail from an escargot shell. The canard de la plum sauce was to die for.Great wine selection. View menu

loved the atmosphere and great worth and eat. the salat needed more dressing on him and we thought we should have offered bread. the waitress seemed to be new and needed more experience. but overall we really liked it.

dinner at amour is always a great experience. a large part of the joy comes with the owner paul who is always happy to combine weine with their food and will then give a wonderful description of the weine and why it was chosen. our favorite.

we had a nice time to dinner. my son and I were in richmond for only one night for a special exhibition at the virginia museum. our waitress was so great and I loved the owner coming and especially recommend the perfect wee to go with my meal. I even ordered a second dessert of the chocolate cream broth because it was so good! View menu

This was my husband's birthday week! As Amour is closed on Mondays, his very birth day, we extended the celebration! This is one of his favorite restaurants and harkens back to a previous favorite French restaurant! The food is quiet good and the menu stable. The space is small and the tables very close together generally which makes it cozy. We note many couples on their first date. Amour Bistro also seems perfect for that occasion!

Another wonderful evening and meal at Amour Wine Bistro. The preparation and presentation of our cheese charcuterie platter was beautiful and the other courses were deliciously and perfectly prepared and served in a manner that respects not only the patron, but also enhances the experience of enjoying the meal, not simply eating. Waitstaff was terrific and the wine pairings were spot on. A place we will return to again and again. Highly recommend.

"I don’t like leaving negative reviews, but I have to say I was very disappointed in my dining experience at Adarra. It’s difficult to get a reservation there, so once I was able to, I had extremely high expectations. The drinks were excellent, so no complaints there. The food, however, was not. We ordered the toasted almonds, peppers, cheese plate, tuna belly, anchovy dish, tomato salad, and gnocchi. The almonds and peppers were good, although I have to say they were on the simpler side. The tuna belly made me think I was eating quality tuna from a can soaked in olive oil. That’s the best way I can describe it. It was a bit tough and on the dry side, and I didn’t finish it. I don’t usually eat anchovies since I’m not a fan of the typical fishy taste, but was assured that their version wasn’t fishy at all the way they prepare it. I ate a piece or two but couldn’t finish it. Soaking the anchovies in olive oil did not hide the fishy taste. Some people may like that fishy taste, but I definitely didn’t. The cheese plate was okay. The crackers weren’t anything special, and the amount of cheese was pretty minuscule. The tomato salad was actually the only thing I ordered that was delicious, and the only thing we actually finished. After being at the restaurant for almost two hours, the gnocchi had still not come out. We told our waitress we didn’t want it and decided to leave. I heard so many great things about Adarra and had such high hopes. But after such a disappointing meal that we paid over $200 for, we will not be returning."
