"The food is usually good. The drinks are better. The service has always been good, and I've been there several times and at different times of the day. The atmosphere (this is just a personal opinion), I really dislike. There is usually live Spanish music, i.e., mariachis, corridas, or whatever is playing is never the problem ... but the thing is that the music is WAY TOO LOUD. Obnoxiously loud. You can not hold a conversation or enjoy the ambiance. You eat and drink, but socializing is the chore due to elevated voices, you hear everyone's conversations around you, and you're forced to stop after every deafening song and praise the high decibels giving you tinnitus and making your food cold. So I sit in the bar area or outside usually. It's much better for socializing."

I had a great experience at this restaurant! The food was delicious, and the staff were quite appealing. I visited while on a work trip from Albuquerque, New Mexico, and I really enjoyed my time there.

First things first, their breakfast was top notch! The only downside to my visit, was the rather large looking fellow that proceeded to pick the food out of his teeth using the bar mirror. probably wont be going back.... View menu

My mom's 89th birthday was absolutely perfect, and it was all thanks to your amazing service! We were so touched by the surprise of you singing to her and organizing the party piñata. Thank you so much for making her day special!

Stopped here tonight thinking it would be a good authentic Mexican food and the quality was pretty bad when I ordered and tasted the enchiladas. Plus the place had a Marachi band going that was too loud for the place. Would not come back again. Very disappointed.

All I wanted all day was some good queso. The server told me they have it she brought a plate of cheese and a pan and warmed it up to the side of us and customers was walking by looking at the cheese breathing on it. THIS WAS NOT WHAT I WANTED. To top it off It was 12 dollars. Ridiculous. Server was rude. Atmosphere was loud. I will never be back. This was pathetic. View menu

The food was disappointing. My plate sat under the warmer for too long, which caused the rice and beans to lose their color. The chicken in my tacos was extremely dry, making it inedible. The salsa was spicy but flavorful. The service was average; I had to wait quite a while for my food and drink refills. However, the atmosphere was pleasant, especially with the live mariachi music.

AMAZING! We went Friday night at 6 pm not knowing they were having a one man Mariachi Eduardo Cordova. It was fabulous!!! He actually sounds like mexican singer and mariachi Vicente Fernandez. He was so good I asked my husband if it was his voice or Vicente's. And it was him. With that type of entertainment, I will definitely come back again. Thereafter, Mariachi Real Azteca, a group of 7, played amazingly well. Very professional. The harp is a rare instrument in mariachi bands. It was a wonderful experience. The food was good as well. Except on the Chicken Salad, l would add more lettuce and cut the croutons in half or better yet 2/3. Too many and better to cut them for healthier eating. Se...

"We began with Baked Escargot in Herbed Citrus Parmesan Butter—an exquisite dish in which the desire to savor every drop of the butter was undeniable. The Grilled Octopus with Cilantro Chimichurri was expertly spiced, leaving a lasting impression of refined flavors. The Central Caesar Salad, uniquely presented for communal sharing, was notable for its rich Anchovy Emulsion. The Cream of Green Chile Soup was a revelation; its creamy texture and depth of flavor were so captivating that they prompted a moment of culinary reflection. However, the Seared Diver Scallops, though well-executed, did not resonate as strongly with me; I had a less than favorable reception of the broccoli puree. In contrast, the Lobster Agnolotti was satisfactorily balanced and flavorful with its delicate pasta and butter-poached lobster claw submerged in a creamy lobster broth. The Honey Lavender Long Island Duck was another course that showcased the fusing of sweet and savory nuances. The undeniable highlight of the meal was the Ribeye Prime, a masterful display of flavor infusion, complemented by Chipotle Lime Butter and enhanced by the textural contrast of crispy onion strings. We concluded on a celebratory note with a Dessert Platter for my husband’s birthday. This thoughtful gesture included an array of desserts from Petite Crème Brulée to a Mexican Chocolate Tart, each a testament to the restaurant’s dedication to a memorable dining experience. However, it is imperative to note that the ambiance was somewhat marred by the overly loud piano and live singing. While the music itself was beautifully rendered, its volume was disproportionate to the dining setting, complicating conversational flow and detracting from the overall enjoyment."
