"Ambiance is trendy and pretty. Customer service is friendly. I order the classic chicken meal, sweet mango and sticky rice and it's pretty flavorful and good. I just wish it's served in the real plates and dish ware to make the whole meal and experience much better. Overall, food and place is good so yes I would come back."

"just one of the best experiences we had! we had lucky enough to sit valentineday evening dinner reservations for the cooks table from the moment we went, we were impressed by everything. staff: very friendly, attentive, 10/10! each individual person has made us feel at home and everyone seemed happy to be there what is a hard-found! chef chris's team were all amazing with him crafts. he explained every court that the whole team was synchronized when every court was out. chris gave a great explanation from each court informed us how he came to the creation of every court etc. we have eaten many “good restaurants”, but that was something else. every court that came out, we caught ourselves saying, "This is the best and so I have ever had" my favorite was the otopus. I had never cooked anything like it- with perfection! localis is an experience for me, not only “Dinner”. it's expensive if they're looking for dinner only, but if they ever want to have a 12-course dinner experience from an amazing cook, localis is probably the best place to do it in sacramento. will be back in future definitiw! thanks to the whole staff!"

"This has become one of our go-to’s in town. The staff are always super friendly and helpful and are quick to clean up and show you a table, even when they’re super busy! Of course their Pho is exactly what you expect and never disappoints. So is their beef stew. I just recently tried the Catfish Hot Sour Soup and it was an absolute delight— there’s almost an entire fish in there! The a la carte items are a plenty and are also generously portioned. We always leave with leftovers which somehow also taste better the next day. Don’t forget to grab some of their tasty Vietnamese coffee on your way out! 11/10 would recommend."

"Came here several times with friends and coworkers to grab drinks and yummy sushi. I really enjoy their oyster shots and their Jensai Blue Fire Roll (served on fire! is pretty cool and taste great. Good variety and decent prices. Service is always friendly but can be a bit of a wait since there are less staff during the pandemic so I can't blame them. Ambiance is pretty chill and they have a TV to watch games at the bar. Neat spot and I enjoy coming here. It's on a somewhat busy street when you exit tue freeway. Parking lot is very limited and hard to find so you may need to park on the side streets Or the neighborhood nearby. If you have a large party, I suggest carpooling."

"Service was impeccable. Ambiance was great. I think we ordered too much as we did not finish everything. Now for the food: Tater Tots presented beautifully with mole sauce around it. Upside Down Cornbread this might be my favorite in the entire dinner Kombu Smoked Trout interesting Garden Cucumber Salad very tasty Charred Summer Squash I did not taste it but my daughter liked it Blistered Pole Beans my husband seems to like it Smoked whole chicken very good but we probably should have tried the NY strip or the Iberico pork collar Seared Ahi Tuna very fresh but it needed a bit more of the chimichurri sauce Overall a great dining experience for special occasion since it is pretty pricey."
