"My girlfriend and I decided to come in and try the restaurant. We both love small family owned restaurants. And the rating was very good. However, when we got our food, it was mediocre at best. My girlfriend got some chicken soup, and it had a lot of bones in it. It was not edible. When asked to take it off the bill, they refused. They asked if she wanted another bowl. No, because chances are it would be the same. So they replaced it with a salad. We at one point asked for more napkins, and we were brought one napkin a piece. And the service was almost non-existent. We were very disappointed. Would not recommend."

my enkelin is 17 years old and she comes with us to the apple tree since she was old enough to sit in one of her high chairs. she still loves to eat her wonderful suppe and sandwich combos, and many of the other items. my friend and I feel the same as her. this is our favorite restaurant for many years!
