"Here are a few highlights from our fantastic meal: 1. The ahi tuna larb was a brilliant twist on the traditional Thai larb salad. It featured incredibly fresh tuna, zesty lime, cilantro, and vibrant onions and mint. Highly recommend it! 2. Each of the curry dishes was exceptional. The Massaman curry was sweet and gentle on the spice, perfectly paired with the rich short ribs. The green curry had more kick and was packed with vegetables, while the yellow curry struck a great balance between sweet and spicy. 3. The Arawan pad Thai stood out as well, with its sweet and savory profile brought to life by fish sauce, lime juice, tender chicken, and shrimp. The egg lattice on top was a delightful touch. 4. The Thai steak salad with fresh mint was a revelation—so fresh, zesty, and bright! The dressing perfectly cut through the steak’s richness, which was cooked to a glorious medium rare. A must-try! 5. If you're contemplating whether to order the whole fried catfish, take my advice and do it! The exterior was astonishingly crispy, while the inside remained soft and tender, devoid of the slimy taste often found in poorly prepared catfish. The empty plate tells the story of how much we enjoyed it! We had a feast that might lead you to believe we’d be full and done, but we weren't! We also decided to sample every dessert on the menu, which turned out to be an excellent choice. The coconut ice cream was outstanding, and the banana crepe was surprisingly complex—gooey, soft, sweet, and crunchy, perfectly paired with Thai iced tea ice cream. The coconut rice with mango was just the right amount of sweetness, and the mango ice cream was the best sorbet I've ever tasted—this is not an exaggeration! Upon receiving our bill (and celebrating the chefs with applause), we were pleasantly surprised with four complimentary panna cottas drizzled with mango sauce, as the pastry chef was testing a new dessert. It was absolutely delightful—not overly sweet and perfectly complemented by the tangy mango sauce. If you're visiting Vegas, Arawan Thai is a must-try. You won't be disappointed! Our trip was filled with laughter, hugs, smiles, tears, and memories to last a lifetime. Don’t settle for mediocre food when amazing experiences like Arawan are just off the Vegas strip. Happy Eating!"
