"I've lived in the Kalamazoo area for 20 years and never realized that this truck stop had a restaurant! I stumbled upon their Facebook page and saw several posts about their secret menu, which prompted me to visit. I've been there a few times now, and each meal has been fantastic. It's one of the last remaining mom-and-pop diners, and this place truly is a treasure. The food is always hot, delicious, and prepared in-house. They regularly change their specials and desserts, and the prices are very reasonable. It's always bustling with customers, and the staff is friendly and welcoming. This has quickly become my new favorite diner!"

Best hash browns I've ever had. Most hash browns are over cooked. These were slightly under perfectly cooked not brown. You could taste the buttery goodness.

The food was delicious, the portions were generous, and the service was quick. I had breakfast for lunch, and it was more than enough to keep me satisfied for the rest of the day!

We got there and it felt so homey and welcoming, the food came fast and it was amazing and as I leaving one of the workers gave me a piece of cake for free because I couldn’t afford one!! She was so sweet! View menu

Service was very slow. Server's were extremely overworked but friendly. Tables were dirty upon arrival and had to wait for them to be washed. The food was good. If they can get all the kinks worked out of running a restaurant, it will be a nice place to eat. I'm looking forward to trying one of their monstrous meals

"My husband and I were SUPER excited to try KP, I’m a big foodie and I love supporting local businesses. We had the opportunity to dine here, and while the website said nothing about a reservation or how to make one, they made us feel VERY awkward for not having one. I mean three separate employees came up and asked us if we had one and we explained we didn’t see where it was needed on the website, they said “yeah, well most people call.” in a condescending way. Like ok, we’re sorry? Lol. Anyway the food was phenomenal. We ordered the hummus for our starter, and I had the chicken marsala and my husband had the salmon. The Marsala was so rich and delicious and the salmon my husband had was full of flavor. Would have loved to give a perfect 5 but wasn’t expecting to feel awkward af lol I came here with a friend to give it another shot. We made a reservation this time! I was very excited to take my friend and the food was less than impressive. I got the bone in ribeye and asked for it to be cooked medium. It was severely under cooked and the brussel sprouts were so crunchy they were inedible. Also the plating was horrendous. I understand I got a large steak but it was literally a huge chunk of meat just thrown on the plate. My friend had the Alfredo with chicken and the chicken was so so so dry. Unfortunately we will not be going back to KP."
